Booked a table for a birthday last week for food yesterday only to turn up and be informed they don’t serve food on a Tuesday which is not advertised or shown when booking a table, the person behind the bar even said that his manager had told him someone was booked in yet neither had the decency to email or call us before turning up to inform us of this so not only was a birthday meal ruined but we drove there and paid for parking for no reason at all, absolute waste of time and shows a establishment that cares more about lining there pockets then looking after there customers, will not be returning, plenty of much better places in Chester that look after there customers and would have had the decency to call ahead and inform us the kitchen...

My boyfriend and I love it here! It's a family run business where they make most of the beers and IPA's on draft which are sold in lots of pubs across Chester, so they know their stuff if you go in and you're not sure what you want! All of the staff are so lovely and helpful, and the food is amazing too. My friend had a pizza there recently and said it was one of the best pizza's he's ever had! Everything is made fresh, and their beer garden is lovely on a sunny day. I'd say this is our local now as we're there all of the time! Its dog friendly too, and they do money off beers on a Sunday, Monday...

This little place is amazing. Dog friendly with a selection of ales and unusual drinks that I'd never have tried back home. The food menu is phenomenal with many different options including gluten free, vegan and vegetarian. I had the philly cheese steak burger with chips and biscoff cheesecake with a scoop of maltesers ice cream and I honestly cannot explain how gorgeous everything was. The staff are friendly and happy to chat and have a laugh and my overall experience here has been wonderful. I will definitely be recommending the deva tap to my friends if they're considering a trip...
