Such a beautiful picturesque and historical town...the cross is right in the middle....this beautiful peice of restored history is worth the journey alone...but....there is always something going on in the centre just like it would of been throughout the midevil times......the tudor style buildings are always a pleasure to look at too....and often leaves me wondering what life would of been like throughout various times.....not far from the center is the ampatheter.....which was the largest of its kind in the uk...not far from the ampatheter is the river....there are plenty of benches and a bandstand.. And usually on a weekend there will be a band playing........in the centre there are also some hidden suprised in some of the shops....like the huge Base of pillars used inside one of the most important Roman buildings in chester......there are lots of shops full of all kinds of interesting things....Chester is one of my favourite places to be in summer....and near Xmas it even more beautiful....so no matter what time of year...
