Olawa Bakery Chester — Restaurant in England

You're not coming out of this place with a single piece of a bread roll... When you get there you're doomed! The quality of cakes and pastries is incredible. Everytime I promise myself "only the bread, only the bread!" and I end up with 2 donuts and a cheesecake. Have some courage and try some of the weird stuff too: sauerkraut roll, cottage cheese Flat pastries and all the breads they sell. I ate a piece of a cake just 5 minutes ago, shared with some friends and we all loved it.

Lovely place. I had 40 minute stopover at train station - this place is just 2 mins walk away so you can come out for better food than on the platform!

Bakery it is - but also is a sit-in cafe, doing sweet and savoury pancakes, salads, sandwiches and toasties. I asked for a traditional british pancake combo (lemon and sugar) and although they'd never heard of it, they obliged and it was DEEE-LICIOUS.

I can't show you a picture of the Almond Croissant we just shared because it disappeared so quickly! Easily enough for three it was generous, flaky, sweet and outstanding! We ran by here on a whim as we had a few moments before catching the train. There is fresh bread, pastries, pre-made sandwiches, and pizzas for one.
