I love everything about this place, the food, the service, and the setting are all fantastic. We had the vegan loaded toast and the mushrooms on toast first. The quality of the food is a cut above what you would normally expect - I really liked the pickled elements especially. The food was so good that we ordered the apple crumble pain perdu as well, which was genuinely the most delicious thing I have eaten in quite a while. There were lots of options for vegans, sweet and savoury. The service was super friendly and we were greeted upon arrival by a lovely woman who was also happy to answer questions about the food. The inside of the cafe is bigger than it looks from the front, there are lots of tables. We were a family of 3 adults, and two teenagers. We thoroughly enjoyed our cooked breakfast (at 11:45) , and can highly recommend it. We're all fussy coffee drinkers and we thought they were excellent. We also tried their "smoothie of the day" wish was mango, banana and spinach...we can thoroughly recommend it... So glad I stumbled upon this little Brixham gem in my quest for a proper brunch (complete with a sausage 😁) and a great cup of coffee! The atmosphere is lovely, the food is delicious, and the staff are absolutely fantastic – so warm and welcoming. They genuinely couldn’t do more for you. Even the chef gave me a friendly nod as I walked past the kitchen, which really added to the experience.

In a post-Covid world, where customer service often feels like it’s in decline, it’s refreshing to find a place that truly values its customers. This is exactly the kind of business I want to support and I’m already planning to come...
