The Railway Tavern — Restaurant in England

So I was in Southend to watch my Beloved Oldham Athletic Vs Southend at Roots hall, fan bar at the stadium and the blue boar 🐗 are for home fans only so ended up at the Railway pub which had a mixture of Oldham and Southend fans.

Boozer was absolutely hammered and a fantastic atmosphere with football ⚽️ on the tvs throughout the pub, Polite and friendly staff, To drink my first pint was a pint of Doom bar which wasn't the best and then I opted for a pint of Moretti.

You can pay cash or card, Extremely busy on match day which is to be expected meaning a short wait to get served but definitely recommend The Railway Tavern...

Yes great here , wall to wall sports channels , friendly staff, clean, airy, pool table ,beer garden . .immaculate so overall impressed. Great selection in wine coolers, spirits, beer , ale and soft drink aplenty. Would try the speitzer so will visit again definately. Also maintains the aura of past workin mans chill out after a days graft layin sleepers . Not that i graft but yes 1 pub worth...

I've never really felt welcome there. I think it's quite a closed community type of pub or at least that's how I sense it, like everyone turns to look at you when you enter and think who's she? She's not a regular. We only visit a couple of times a year despite it being over the road to us. A shame as when we moved here I was excited about having a local to...
