The White Hart — Restaurant in England

Visited this pub based on both some reviews on Google and some passersby on the way from the restaurant I was at and I see why they all recommended the White Hart.

So from when myself and my partner walked in we was welcomed warmly by both the bar staff and the patrons unlike other pubs I have visited where it can be a daunting task just walking in the front door.

It's a warm homely environment and just what you'd expect from a Cornish pub this place is very clean and is very easy for visitors to make themselves a home.

The ladies toilet is very clean which can be a surprise based on other pubs I have visited so that's a thumbs up for the ladies!

Would visit again if I'm in the area again. Definitely a good place to pop into...

On holiday in Cornwall and have come to Truro for the day by train from St Ives. We have done our retail therapy, and it was time for a pint!! In a backstreet we chanced upon this charming attractive old fashioned pub. Inside, it didn't disappoint with a nice bar and a cosy atmosphere. My Sea Fury pint was a new one on me but was excellent. The twee glass for the half of Madri was soooo cute !! A real locals haunt....and excellent...

We found The White Hart by luck (another pub couldn’t accommodate our pup). As soon as we walked in the atmosphere was so warm and welcoming, with a wonderful patron moving tables so we could all sit down. The owner was so kind and took time to have a chat with us and even gave my daughter a little gift. If you’re looking for a lovely, friendly pub with excellent ales this is for you.
