Last year I had my very first afternoon tea here on my birthday and absolutely loved it. After that, I had a few more afternoon teas, (one even at a very fancy and quite expensive place where my sister in law had her hen do) but Tiny Tim's has raised the stakes for afternoon tea extremely high for me. As I wouldn't shut up about this, my partner decided to give it a try too so we rang up last minute on his day off and turned up an hour later. The staff is absolutely lovely, the atmosphere was very relaxed. We did get some extra sandwiches with our order too which we really appreciated, it was such a lovely touch! The quality of their food definitely stands out. Every single item on the tiers is fricking delicious. Sandwiches are made with soft bread and are freshly prepared upon order, scones are served warm and the petit four are all to die for! I always get so excited trying them all 😁 I honestly don't understand the bad reviews on here but surely those people don't appreciate good quality food. For about £20 per person I think it's very fairly priced considering the cost that goes into ingredients and production. Being a home baker myself I know how much time and effort goes into preparation. Adding the cost of everything else that comes on top of it, you can barely make any profit without people starting to moan. So please, If you can't appreciate good food, stay away from Tiny Tim's. However I know I'll be back for sure! 😊

Went here for afternoon tea. Prices around $25/person You get a choice of 6 sandwiches divided into smaller bite sizes for your group and an assortment of desserts and a drink of choice. The service and the atmosphere were great. The desserts were amazing. The sandwiches were not good at all in my opinion. I might just be a picky person but there was so much sauce and they all tasted the same and not different enough. Too much mayo for sure and it just wasn’t my cup of tea at all. I don’t think many Americans would like it. And even my British friend said it had too much sauce. I left and for myself another sandwich at a shop nearby haha but again might just be my personal taste buds.

Went in to Tiny Tim’s for cream tea (7.5£). There was plenty of seating available- and the staff were full of hospitality and kindness. The tea room has a old school feel- with nicely done interiors. The tea room carried its history with it- and is right next to the Car Park. There is some outdoor seating as well (depending on the weather). The scones were delicious and warm- and the cream and strawberry jam added to its charm. The pot tea was one of the best I have had in a while- was flavourful and delish. The only thing- the crockery looked worn-out and could be replaced (maybe it’s because of the old world charm that they were still used). Would visit again. Thanks.

The title says it all really. I planned a surprise party for my parents here and had 18 people coming including 5 kids. From the initial booking right through to the end of the meal, the staff were helpful and friendly. We were given the whole of the downstairs, which was fantastic as it meant the kids wouldn't bother anyone. They also blocked off the bathroom for just us so that we wouldn't be disturbed by other guests (so thoughtful!). They even decorated with balloons and flowers; the flowers the owner had arranged himself just for us too and let us take home afterward! We had the high tea option, which was £13.95 a head and the amount of food was amazing! The cakes both looked gorgeous and tasted amazing, I had the gluten-free cakes and they were so good! The sandwiches were also great with a range of fillings (I even got to choose what I had in mine!) Unlimited tea and coffee kept everybody very happy and full too! They also let you bring your own alcohol and provide glasses, which was brilliant and this meant my mum could have her favourite bellini with her meal. This experience was one of the best meals out AND parties we've ever had, my mum was so surprised and said it was the best party and just how she would have wanted a party to be. We also were told they can do a sit-down hot meal with a roast too (with notice of course) so I don't think there's anything they can't do here! We absolutely recommend this place for a party and can't praise it highly enough. If you're looking for somewhere for your party, check...

We went here for breakfast, Or tried to. We ordered our breakfast and three hot drinks and waited for 45 minutes for the food, which didn’t turn up We appreciate that staff are busy but we had no communication at all. We spoke to them on two occasions. We were advised the first time that ‘we’re upstairs and they’re downstairs. We don’t know’. We asked for a refund, and as we left, the owner, then came out to have a go at us and told us to leave his premises because ’we are busy’. He stated that we shouted at his staff, which we did not, at any time. He then told us to get out of his premises. Rudest owner, I have Ever come across, I would never recommend this restaurant to anybody after the way we’ve just been treated. If our order had been forgotten, we would’ve understood but without communication, how are we to know? Really unnecessary reaction from the owner. You’d think an apology would be offered rather than rudeness.

Response to the owner: We categorically did not verbally abuse your staff. We asked twice where our food was, no verbal abuse was used at all. Don’t you think other customers would’ve heard if we did? You didn’t apologise, not once. Nobody did. We had no communication from anybody until we enquired as to what was happening. It was me you shouted at as I left with my family. If you had spoken to me, or my family, directly and with politeness, we would have had a conversation with you but you went at me, quite rudely. Your staff were certainly busy, but nobody was...
