Absolutely love this place. Let's start with the guys on the door, they do their job efficiently, they're always sociable and have a laugh with the customers but are very, very professional when it comes to their duties and take their job seriously with absolutelyno nonsense tolerated. They're always really friendly and welcoming and will chat with anybody but above all they keep the vibe enjoyable and safe for the rest of us. Security staff indoors, the same as above but one particular security officer gets a special mention for his moves on the dance floor, he does his job, he stays vigilant and its quite smart actually because nobody expects to be being surveilled by a dancing bouncer... It's much more relaxed than say someone who stands rigidly watching people like a hawk which can feel a little uncomfortable... and man can he move!! We love seeing him and he just elevates the whole Walkabout experience. The Bar Staff- can't rate them enough, they're always running around like headless chickens, always so friendly and polite and again, efficient... and always do so with a smile, which I can't imagine isn't easy when trying to take orders from intoxicated people. Always relatively prompt when clearing glasses around the dancefloor. Just awesome people all-round tbh. I've never been served by anybody being rude. I can't remember her name but there is one lady who seems to be a manager or something but she's always there at weekends and seems to be running the show, she is doing a brilliant job and she's always so nice even when she's run off her feet. You never have to wait toooooo long to get served but you know, on a Saturday night when it's crammed full of people, expect to wait cos they're not miracle workers as hard as they try. DJ- I seem to think they've had a different DJ recently the one I was used to a while back we thought he was great, it was always a vibe, tunes were generally always banging and gave a very enjoyable evening. The DJ we've experienced the last couple of times if I'm right is also great and for the most part also plays some bangers.... but knock it on the head with all the Taylor Swift mate, I know there are alot of students swarming the place lately but think about us veterans who can just about handle one TS song never mind 4. Other than that... smashing it. Still a vibe, still making Walkabout our go to watering hole and we just love to dance the whole night away til the very, last tune and we couldn't do that without some awesome music!! We just love coming to Walkabout and everything just works so well. It's the people that keep the ship running that make it all worthwhile so, Thank you!! (And give the Dancing SO a raise for entertainment...

I had an incredible time at Walkabout in Leicester! The lively atmosphere and friendly staff immediately set the tone for a memorable night out. The variety of drinks and cocktails they offer is impressive, catering to a wide range of preferences.

The highlight of the evening was the entertainment. The live music and DJ created an energetic vibe that kept everyone dancing and having a great time. The venue's layout and design allowed for a comfortable and enjoyable experience, whether you're catching up with friends or meeting new people.

I must also commend the staff for their attentiveness and prompt service. They made sure everyone had a fantastic time, and their dedication truly stood out.

Walkabout Leicester is undeniably a go-to spot for a fun night out in the city. I'll be looking forward to my next visit and the guaranteed good times that come with it!

I have been to walkabout a number of times, and I have never been disappointed until last night. I ordered 2 vodka lemonades and both were flat and undrinkable. I queued back up at the bar for 10minutes, and when explaining the issue with the lemonade I was treated with disdain. The staff were rude and unhelpful, and said that the lemonade was not flat when it clearly was. I've had this issue with lemonade in many bars and clubs, and understand that flat lemonade is something that happens and is nobodies fault. In every other venue this has happened the staff have been really helpful and offered me an alternative, whilst they endeavour to fix the lemonade issue. I am beyond disappointed at the lack of customer service - being made out to feel stupid when your drink tastes disgusting is not the treatment I expected in Walkabout - a bar I have previously had good...
