Wow!!! Where do I start!?.. The food was absolutely delicious!!! The best Turkish food I've ever had! We ate in the restaurant, and ordered..
Starters: Lentil Soup, Citir Balik, Calamari, Mititi Kofte, and the Hot Mezze Platter (Sucuk, Halloumi, Cigara Borek, Falafel, Hummus, pickles, salad and olives, served with bread).
Mains: Naga Doner (I chose the "very spicy" option) with chips and salad, Lamb Doner with rice and salad, and Lamb Shank Tagine with chips and salad.
Pudding (to share): Havuc Dilimi Baklava with ice cream.
I also had the Efes Lager, and the Efes Pilsner.
All of the food was excellent quality, really fresh and cooked with an obvious passion. But my absolute favourites were the Sucuk (sausage) which was super soft and unbelievably tasty, the Calamari which again had a lovely texture and flavour, the Havuc Dilimi Baklava which was indulgently buttery..
..... and ............
..the Naga Doner, which was, hands down, the best lamb doner I have ever had!!! It was SO juicy and tender, and absolutely packed full of flavour! The original marinade for the doner meat was clearly expertly thought out, the lamb was obviously good quality, and it was then cooked to perfection. But, on top of that, as someone who loves very spicy food, and Naga chillies in particular, I was overjoyed to find that the chef had created his own homemade Naga chilli sauce using fresh Nagas (which aren't particularly easy to source)! And when the lamb doner was cooked in that sauce it took the dish to beyond next level, it was insanely tasty and satisfying!!! The spice level was very hot obviously, but not aggressive or unpleasant, and the lovely Naga flavour really came through, with the Naga's unique heat gradually building throughout the meal. So, I would HIGHLY recommend that to anyone who likes very hot but tasty food! I even asked to try the uncooked Naga chilli sauce for comparison, and the staff very kindly obliged. It was also very tasty, and slightly different to when it's cooked, with a fresher and more acidic taste, great to dip your chips in! [Ignore the reference to Scotch Bonnet and Habanero chillies in the description on the menu, the staff confirmed it was purely Naga chillies in the sauce, which you could tell straight away from the flavour]. The accompanying garlic sauce was also the best I have ever tried in my life, and it complimented the Naga Doner perfectly!
The restaurant had pleasant decor and a welcoming atmosphere, and it was lovely and clean. The music was really nice and tranquil. The prices were very reasonable considering the quality of the food. And, the staff were super nice and friendly, and exceptionally polite and professional, they really made you feel at home and comfortable. The whole experience really couldn't have been any better, and I can't...
Read moreLast night, we had tasty and satisfying turkish food in Kasaie Grill. We ordered some hot appetizers and mixed grills called The Grill House for five of us. The dish was big in portion, delicious, perfectly cooked, juicy, and the flavor was amazing. We often eat turkish food in different restaurants, but I'm never able to eat any lamb chop because I think they don't cook properly. But in Kasie Grill, the chops were well cooked, tender, and full of flavored, and the chicken was soft, juicy, and again full of flavored. The service was excellent. 100% recommend. Many thanks to Kasaie Grill team for serving us tasy food with your...
Read moreKasaie Grill has quickly become one of my favorite spots for a satisfying and flavorful meal, and their lamb chops are the undeniable highlight! From the moment you step into the restaurant, you can sense the dedication to quality and authenticity in the air. Now, let’s talk about those lamb chops. They are, hands down, the best I’ve had in a long time. Grilled to perfection, they have that ideal balance of tender, juicy meat with a beautifully crisp exterior. The seasoning is spot-on — a perfect mix of earthy spices and a slight smokiness from the grill. You can tell the meat is top-quality, and the flavors really speak...
