Blackpool BLK Coffee — Restaurant in Great Britain

Ordered 1 tea, 1 hot chocolate, 2 cakes from counter. Sponge cake was rock hard so asked if I could change to a scone, bit of toing & frowing ( with me actually apologising 🤦‍♀️) but eventually got it changed, the scone tasted fusty and my daughters chocolate cake was hard, the hot chocolate was quite watery and after about 25 mins I still hadn’t had my tea, it was torrential rain outside so I really wasn’t in a hurry but when it came over it was very weak 😢 I gave the server the 2 plates with the cakes and explained they were also not edible but he actually shrugged his shoulders … I did not ask for a refund but I felt I should have been offered one as I bought items that I could not eat or drink but since we were out of the rain for 45 mins or so I took it as spending £10 to keep dry and not much else. Been going to Blackpool for 50 years and I expect different levels of service & quality but this was another level so I felt strongly enough to review....

Just eat delivery order

Came well packaged in foil trays and bread (toast) in a paper bag. To our expectations this is a 2-3/5, bacon was over done and not in a good way, tasted okay though, eggs were under done so wife wouldnt eat as over slimy on top. sausages again over done, reminded me of the £2 frozen ones for like 30 from Morrisons. the hash browns were tasty and cooked nice and the little container for beans and tinned tomato were a nice touch. the bread was well buttered, sauce compliment.

Alot was cold or simply loop warm so maybe benefit from wrapping food in foil or drivers ensuring bags are closed.

Just eat offer for £10 plus free small breakfast was good value but, would have preferred to pay for the small breakfast and had warm/better quality.

Wouldnt choose to have again...

Very Disappointing Experience

We visited a breakfast café in Blackpool today and had a very bad experience. The person taking our order had a rude and unwelcoming attitude, making us feel like we weren’t valued as customers. Before we even received our food, we already felt uncomfortable.

The service was poor — people who arrived after us were served before us. The cook and the front staff seemed disorganized, and the person at reception appeared to have difficulty hearing us properly and reacted with unpleasant facial expressions, which made things worse.

A business should treat customers with respect and have staff with a good attitude. Unfortunately, this place failed badly in that regard. I would not recommend...
