Nice spacious pub : went back in later in the night a big bloke was lying on pavement asking for help up, then said he couldn't walk and asked for money. That's when I left him and went in next minute in he walks mentioned to female bar staff they went over he got all shouty and threats a customer went over (man in 60s) to say calm down its women your disrespecting: then up went a chair and he was intent on hurting the chap . I said look at you couldn't walk before now this that's why people don't want to help you: off on anither rant he went . I've never had the food so I can't comment but the lady who runs the place is great she even fought the big bosses for her customers & made sure they didn't put the prices up on certain drinks even though it would of benefited her too- see that's someone who cares more about her loyal customers & her reputation rather than just making money! All in all it's a really nice place with lovely people & a lovely atmosphere it's really clean & tidy they have every drink u could want & do little games & things oh & they also have TVs on with news & stuff on all the time so yeah 👍🏼 it's basically everything u could...

This is our favourite pub in Hull when we visit. On this occasion, we had reservations at a certain restaurant but blew it off because on a Tuesday in this pub, they have a full-on afternoon of entertainment. Bingo, meat raffles, Play Your Cards Right then karaoke. The host was cracking and the barstaff are always wonderful. The place is clean and the patrons friendly.
