Fig Tree Deli — Restaurant in Great Britain

The Fig Tree Deli is our go-to for a lunch takeaway in Wells - the Halloumi brioche bun, brie and bacon sandwich and vanilla milkshake are delicious. It is also THE place in central Wells to quickly pick up local produce (local eggs and bread) or a condiment that will upgrade your dinner plans. We love the chilli jam and wasabi mayonnaise.

We enjoyed them so much, we asked The Fig Tree Deli to cater for our brunch the day after our wedding. We had a selection of bagels with a trendy twist, smoothies and incredible fruit platters. Highly recommended for a private event.

Absolutely lovely spot at the start of the high street of Wells. All the staff were friendly and helpful and my god the food was so good. I went for a classic chicken and pesto sandwich and later on that day I found myself wishing I had ordered two because it was so delicious! I am happy to have made this place a regular haunt of mine. I also found the price to be quite reasonable for the high quality ingredients you get. Definitely try their carrot cake and anything the lovely girl who served me...

I absolutely love The Fig Tree! I’m often popping in for coffee and some of the many items they offer- gorgeous fresh bread, cheese, milk, eggs and beautifully procured shelf items are easy to grab. Mouth watering sweets are a must purchase- I love the baklava, pistachio cannoli and the brownies to name a few ! Their delicious salads and made to order options are always flavorful.
