Katie's Bar Glasgow — Restaurant in Great Britain

First time in this bar and it seemed a lovely place and good music bar staff were friendly and helpful with drink choices and we were enjoying it......however it was let down by 2 things 1... both male and female toilets weren't up to a decent standard and even more so fact doors are propped open when the bar is right outside is very inconvenient for a convenience!!

Drag queen karaoke performer started off very funny having a laugh about things and bantering about our floral tops and how there were "more flowers than a garden centre", we could happily accept this and laugh along..........however when it then becomes more personal about individual peoples looks and abilities ...we lost interest ......at least 2 of our group were targeted and majorly offended and the rest of us were not at all impressed with what was said either .......I can have a good banter but unless you know people you have to be careful about just how personal your "jokes" become.

I had thought of returning later this week for another night out with a group of friends but thanks to the drag queen, my first visit will now be my last and the last of most my friends too ......extremely disappointed and insulted by you choice of...

It's a nice atmosphere and i love the drag shows they put on which are always free which gets a big thumbs up from me. However their toilets are a shambles and are in dire need of an upgrade and deep clean. It is drab, old and dirty. The other thing which really surprises me is that they dont serve tap water. I asked for some one night after I had been buying drinks. And the blonde older woman told me they only sell bottled water. I asked if I can have tap to which she replied that they dont do that there. Forgive me but isn't it a right for customers in bars to be able to get free tap water if they need? Especially if a lot of alcohol is consumed in the evening. Please start giving your loyal patrons the choice of this. It just makes you look stingy and cheap to...

Great place for a few beers. Only thing I didn't like was the random queueing system at the bar. Wasn't sure what was going on as it was all a bit strange. First time at the bar just seemed like first come first served. After that it looked like some people were queueing and the staff were only serving people in the queue and at other times they were serving people who just walked up to a space at the bar. Sometimes I just felt invisible! Other than that it was a great place. Big and spacious with plenty of seats and reservations could be made for groups if required. It had a stage and there was entertainment supplied. Worth a wee visit if your in...
