Decided to try here for me and my husband's anniversary celebrations. Place is beautifully decorated and we received a warm welcome. We were given a window seat where the table was like a big window ledge, initially not impressed but the chair was very comfy and we had a good amount of space for the food too. I ended up really liking the seat, it made for great people watching and because our backs were to the restaurant, we felt like we were in our own wee bubble.

Now onto the food, it was absolutely delicious. We got the Caesar salad, crispy potato, gnudi, focaccia, olives, carbonara and the brie pizza. It was a delight to eat, stand outs were the carbonara, pizza and the Cesar salad was so moreish, which is strange to say for a salad 😂

Wine went down well and fig and olive martini went straight to my head but not complaining!

We shared the tiramisu for dessert and mama mia, best I have had.

The service was great, waitress was very attentive, food was served quickly too.

We ordered 6 plates between us and we couldn't finish it all, saying that we still found room for tirimasu!

I would recommend this place, perfect for couples or a group especially since it's small plates, good for sharing and tasting a bit...

We entered today to try and have a drink at this new bar that looked lovely. We got married two days ago and thought we would find somewhere nice to hopefully have a nice bottle of champagne and some cocktails to round off our weekend. We were greeted on Saturday afternoon by a gentleman who didn’t even look up from the computer upon entering the restaurant. He eventually said good afternoon to which I said the same and asked if it would be ok to sit and enjoy a few drinks at the EMPTY bar! He said so rudely, no you can’t sit and only drink, you have to eat at a table. I was so shocked at his attitude and my husband and I left. We went down the road to the new SiSi where we were greeted by friendly and warming staff and so, sat and enjoyed a few drinks, ended up eating the amazing Mexican style food as well!

All in all, we will not return and very disappointed as living in Glasgow we thought it could be a new place to enjoy the atmosphere at the bar whilst also trying the food when we...

Me and my partner visited this restaurant after seeing it all over instagram, unfortunately we were extremely disappointed. The waiter said the food was served as and when it was ready, which to us defeated the whole point of going to a nice restaurant to eat together if you aren’t getting to enjoy our meal at the same time. The portion sizes were an absolute joke for the price (more like small plates), we ended up leaving still hungry and had to go get food elsewhere! It’s fine if you have the money to splurge on buying multiple plates of food, but definitely thought it was overpriced for what you got. The restaurant was also extremely loud, it was difficult to engage in a proper conversation without having to raise our voices over the music. I see so much potential, but unfortunately we won’t be returning and we wouldn’t recommend to others, there are far better Italian...

Stopped in for a late lunch with work colleagues and thoroughly enjoyed. It’s small plates rather than traditional Italian which is excellent because you can try a few wee things. It also means food is very fast coming out. I had the Nduja pasta and a pepperoni pizza (pizzette I think they call them). Initially only wanted half a pizza but no one wanted to share. Good portion actually turned out to be about bang on, nice and filling but not too much food. The pizza was tasty enough although a wee bit soggy in the middle for my taste. Pasta was incredible with a nice bit of chilli running through it. Staff were all friendly and food was coming out quick (as they’re ready tapas style). You could easily order more if your initial order isn’t enough. Colleagues also loved the food.

I had a lovely experience at Malocchio this evening. Location is perfect & even managed to park within walking distance. The restaurant looks gorgeous & it has such a luxurious feel but the atmosphere is so welcoming & comfortable. Staff were all very attentive & friendly. The food was lovely and I loved that the dishes are all brought to the table together, it felt very relaxing and rather homely in the best possible way as we all tucked in. Every plate was delicious and was bursting with flavour. I’d highly recommend & although we got the meal at a discounted price due to it being pre official opening I’d happily have paid full price & will definitely be a return customer.
