Monterey Jack's — Restaurant in Great Britain

I’ve visited other Monterey Jack’s locations before and always had a good better experience, but this visit was really disappointing. From the start, the service was poor — we were told there were no menus, only to then be given menus later. Ordering had to be done through a screen, which meant we couldn’t make any amendments to our meals.

When the food arrived, my hotdog wasn’t even properly served — it had completely fallen apart and wasn’t on the bun. To make things worse, when I asked for cutlery, I was told it was at the salad bar “if there was any”. There wasn’t. We eventually got cutlery, but only halfway through the meal, which really spoiled the experience.

For a bill of around £50, the whole experience just wasn’t worth it. The poor presentation, lack of organisation, and overall service made this visit very disappointing — especially when I know from other branches that Monterey Jack’s can do so...

If you’re going to come here off a food review from TikTok don’t bother . I came here due to a TikTok review which raved about how delish this place was but it was anything but. The service was terrible didn’t know where the cutlery was as I had to go up and ask after waiting 5 minutes . Orderd our starter but mains came out says to the waiter and he took the mains bk came bk with starter which was the mozzarella stick which was greasy and cold. Got the mac and cheese burger and it was as if everything was slapped on it baring in mind the mac and cheese were so dry ended up leaving it also burger was like rubber. My partner got pulled pork burger and says it was cold, no flavour at all . Chips were cold and not great. Think our mains just sat under a heat plate . The first thing to notice is that out of all the five star reviews. Most of the reviewers only have one review and restricted profiles,so they're clearly paying for them.

All fur and no knickers. Came here a few weeks ago to find a pretty dirty restaurant. The booth that was reserved for us had sauce over one of the seats. Ordered 3 burgers, shakes and a pizza. The burgers were okay but not worth the price and the pizza was quite underdone and very doughy. Unfortunately the managment in their effort the extract more profit only has one server on the floor and replaced the others with a touchscreen. The whole bill was around 80 quid and felt like an experience just above McDonald's. Go elsewhere else and support a business that cares for more than just overcharging and overworking people.
