Onzo Pizzeria — Restaurant in Great Britain

First of all, I must say that i probably haven’t encountered such an obliging staff in any other restaurant than this. The waiter was giving us attention from the beginning, told us where we can sit and if we are satisfied with the table, explained to us some of the ingredients we didn’t know, brought us additional sauces, etc. But the most surprising thing was that when we accidentally spilled our drink to one of our pizzas, the waiter didn’t wait, brought us tissues, helped us to clean it and the cooks immediately made another pizza for us which they didn’t even include in our check. This was for me absolutely unbelievable, because i have never ever experienced this in any other restaurant. The food was amazing, done in a fair amount of time and they brought with every single pizza separate cutter so we could cut it as we want. The interior looked beautiful too and the toilets were clean. The only two things I would point out at were that the upper floor of the restaurant isn’t opened the whole day (it’s opened from 17:00 i believe) and the toilets are quite small. We got a takeaway pizza the night before, and it was so delicious, we really enjoyed it. So, the next day we decided to dine in for a birthday celebration, and we were rather disappointed.

We ordered 2 pizzas, the mushroom arancini and focaccia. The pepperoni was just standard, nothing that special, but the GOAT pizza had way too much rocket in comparison to the measly amount of other toppings.

The main issue was the arancini - a complete and utter rip off. We were all so shocked when it was brought to the table, just 2 tiny little balls for the outrageous price of £9! (Adding service fee, that’s essentially £10 for 2 smaller-than-ping-pong sized balls.) For that price, I would expect at least 3 arancini, maybe even 4 when they are so tiny.

Visited this evening at 5pm for dinner. Booked online and was seated straight away. We were sat by the window on the balcony which was fantastic!! The lady took our drinks order, she dumped a bottle of unopened wine on our table with glasses, which I thought was poor! Then the "proper waitresses" stepped in to take our order and was great! Prompt and friendly. The food came out within 10 mins and was piping hot. Portions were large and food tasty. We had a lovely dinner. The kids' menu is great, pasta, pizza, and chicken tenders and chips.

It's so nice to have something other than chips!! So this was a welcomed change. Toilets were lovely and clean too! 10% service charge added to the bill and clearly marked up along with this stated on the menu. This is very normal, and most other restaurants do...
