Pearls Bubble Tea — Restaurant in Great Britain

love this store. always visit when in Brighton. LOTS of options you can choose from - fruit, milk, original, specials, smoothies or shakes - they have it all. the topping options are great, Pearls offers tapioca, popping pearls (various fruit options) & yelly. Obviously you can choose the sugar and ice amount. The price range is what you would expect from a bubble tea shop. They have a loyalty card system which is definitely worth it, if you want to visit again. Pearls offers take out, sit in/front of store or get it delivered to your house. The staff is super friendly & works very hard, as far as I can observe.

Went here with a few friends, got the taro milk tea with tapioca pearls, regular sugar and ice.

It's not bad, and I would say is similar to the review I wrote for Bobo Tea at Manchester arndale. Despite getting regular sugar, the sweetness and flavour wasn't quite enough compared to bubble tea at other places I've been. If I come back in future, I would choose to have 120% sugar, but I usually like my bubble tea to be sweet so for others, it may have been the right level of taste.

I'd recommend checking other places around Brighton as well before deciding on this place as being a regular go-to...

Have been here twice at the recommendation of my nephew. Found a seat in the cramped interior and proceeded to choose a tea. After ordering a drink my four year old son suddenly needed the toilet. The person serving us asked their manager if we could use their toilet but the manager refused. “Sorry, health and safety!” So they were happy for us to sit their and pay for drinks but not to use their bathroom. A 4 year old desperate for the toilet is a health and safety threat to their establishment apparently. Not ordering drinks...
