Probably one of the better meditation classes. However, please be clear about the rules and expectation with new arrivals. The lady who led the meditation, talked at lengths at the end about her feelings about coronation, how as a socialist it does not sit right yet she respects the king. Brighton Buddhist centre is a vibrant hub of meditative and Buddhist activity. I've been twice and have felt welcomed and accepted instantly. The meditation classes are well led and easy to get stuck into. The under 35s night is really well attended and it's a great way to learn how to meditate and meet other people. I can't recommend getting involved and learning to quiet your mind and open your heart...

After 4 years plus of a very unpleasant regime we now have a lovely man as chairman and the Buddhist centre can once again operate with the compassion generosity and inclusion that it used to have ... shame it's stifled by Covid but hopefully by next year once again we will all be welcome and we will see Buddhism exemplified as...
