One word horrendous I ordered 2 hot drinks, a cold drink and some biscuits. The 4 staff were talking amongst themselves, there were dirty tables and a very long queue The lady who served me was very slow and whispered her questions to me so I had to keep asking her what she'd said. Then I had to queue up and wait for my hot beverages while my husband and granddaughter took a seat. They made my cup of tea and I saw a lady ask the lady on till what name it was she said Angela but she'd made a mistake on till. The receipt showed Argel. I received my tea, and said I had another drink a mocha she said yes it's getting made. I took my tea over to where the rest of my family were sitting and went back to wait for my husbands drink. I waited and waited and waited some more there was only one person doing drinks and there were several people in front of me. By the time my drink was ready they shouted Argel but I realised it was me I took the drink and returned to my table. My tea was just warm by then and the table was that wobbly I lost most of my milk and alot of my tea and my granddaughters biscuits went into the wet so she then wouldn't touch them. They should have given me both hot drinks at the same time and someone should have been helping the barista, instead it took about 9-10 minutes maybe longer from ordering to receiving last item. I found all the staff rude and unhelpful and would definitely...

Only downside is the single toilet on ground floor (there may be others either up or down stairs but legs were playing up.) Was asked if I liked drinking coffee. I do, bang to rights - big fan of the stuff. It was a loaded question. They do a deal here every so often that if you buy a bag of beans then you get a free drink. Happy days. I like coffee. I like coffee beans and I like a deal. Mrs L looked bemused when I sat down with 2 bags of beans and no drinks but these were served "a table" by a plucky barista. Would I use again? I suppose I might. It is conceivable that we will re-visit Llandudno as it seems a friendly little town. I imagine we may want coffee and if you are on Vaughan St then this is quite...
Read moreSeeing how the beleaguered staff of Starbucks Llandudno were forced to work, I was reminded of the German Army at Stalingrad - hopelessly outnumbered, short on personnel and in need of a better coffee ordering system.
Firstly the staff themselves were great, but clearly very stressed as the hordes of caffiends kept pouring through the doors. There were also some exceptionally rude foreign customers who treated the staff with contempt.
It was a case of too many customers, not enough staff and a very poor ordering system that meant people who came in after me got their drinks first, and it also transpired, to my utter heartbreak, that some fiend had taken my drink instead. Because apparently listening for your own name is too hard in this modern age of smartwatches...
