Think some of reviews are harsh and very old! Visiting the area and didn't wanna go home early, so reluctantly went to this club, but glad I did! Didn't like waiting in the rain, wish there was some cover, but once in the bouncer who did the bag search was sweet & later helpful in guiding me to smoking area, coat room was cash only, we had no cash so had to keep our coats, pain so please change that. We went upstairs, great vibe, I only walked through bottom floor but definitely preferred the top floor. Thought drinks were very reasonable for a club and the barman Colin was an absolute sort and gave me some free shots, he is definitely your little gem and made our night! A little bit more seating that is easier to get on would be good for us ladies wanting to rest our feet but I have to say, I had a wicked night. Only thing I didn't like was the long walk to smokers area from upstairs and the tiny cattle yard we were put in, I would have normally marked down for this and the coat issue but I feel you need your rating boosted above its current 3.4 as you are closer to...

Paid extra to get a VIP table. A random bloke mangaged to get in to the VIP bit and just started pouring our drinks out to all his friends. We made a complaint and they didnt really do much about not managing the VIP bit, they just told us we could move our drinks to the bar area hidden away. We paid for 8 people on the table, one of the guests was late and paid to get in even though he didnt need to as we had VIP. When i told the bouncer at the VIP bit he was the 8th person and can come in he told us he wasnt allowed in and had to go down and pay an additional £25 to get in, I explained hes already paid and is the 8th person but he still said go downstairs, we went downstairs and they said go upstairs to the bar but the bar was so queued up that we just got the ump and gave up in the end. This place should be shut down!! Firstly I do security myself and the security you had last night was unprofessional on all levels. FOR NO REASON AT ALL.The female security used excessive force to put my friend in a headlock and pull him to the ground from behind. Whilst he was in a headlock to males NON SECURITY was punching him multiple times in he's face and chest, at this point he's face turned purple. The male security ran over to the scene and shouted at he's colleague to "let him go" stating "he hasn't done anything". If it wasn't for the male security stopping this incident I think he would of been dead as he couldn't breath. He is now covered in bruises and cannot at this time open he's eyes due to the swelling of his face.
