This pub is sectarian and discriminates against the catholic/Irish. When in Largs on business recently I had my Son with me on work experience from college, like many teenagers he wears football strip of Celtic and while waiting in line at takeaway a man passing gave us verbal abuse saying “ go home you f…n Irish knackers, f….n gypsies “ . Then a few days later we went to the Ye Olde Anchor Inn bought a drink from a friendly barmaid. While having our drink the barman comes over and grabs our half full pints from us and empties them down the sink and asked us to leave!
