The pizzas here are generally good, and I’ve enjoyed them in the past, but my most recent experience left much to be desired. On one of the days, the cheese on my pizza seemed off, which was surprising and unusual for this establishment. It lacked the consistency and flavor I’ve come to expect, leaving me wondering if it was an issue with freshness or preparation that day. The texture just didn’t feel right, and it somewhat detracted from the overall enjoyment of the meal.
Another significant issue was with the app's order tracking system. The status updates were exceedingly slow, taking a full 20 minutes to progress through each stage from preparation to collection. By the time I arrived at the store, the pizza had already been sitting out for a while, which resulted in it being cold. This was particularly disappointing, as I had relied on the app to give me an accurate timeline. The delay in updates not only caused inconvenience but also negatively affected the quality of the food.

Read moreI thought I'd give them a second chance after previously ordering and waiting over 2 hours for pizza to be delivered. I wish I hadn't it looks like it's going o be the same again tonight. I ordered my pizza at 19:20 I used the tracking app and thought it was odd that it hasn't moved off prep for an hour so I rang up to be answered and was started in mid conversation as the woman thought she had taken another customer off hold. I explained that I wasn't the customer she was supposed to be talking to and that I have just rang up she put me on hold. After being on hold for 10 minutes someone took me off hold and then hung straight up on me!!! I rang back up and asked to speak to a manager and was told there wasn't one available. Maybe that's why this experience was so shocking then? Anyway I was told I would be called later by a manager and my pizza was still on prep because they haven't started it yet and it would still probably be another 30-40 mins and was offered a free pizza next time I order. (I won't hold my breath) anyway it's now been way over 30-40 mins and I've still not received my pizza.

However, my wife currently cannot have any diary products but can have egg and meat. Initially, I called and asked if they can do a meteor pizza but change the base and cheese (vegan) so it can be diary free - they shared they could. Happy at this.
However, called later with the order and they now stated it is against their rules to add non vegan products to a vegan base. I shared this was different to the conversation I had earlier.
I asked how they catered for people with dairy intolerance and they could not answer. The lady was polite enough and apologised.
This seems it is a pretty daft policy according to my conversation I had with them. All we wanted was a dairy free alternative and unfortunately they were unable to do this even with the correct ingredients to do this and not a big ask.
Disappointed.
Just called other pizza places and they are happy to create a diary free pizza....
