Mulan Kitchen — Restaurant in Ipswich

I was very pleasantly surprised by this place. Due to its appearance from the outside and the fact your food is served in trays I would never have eaten here, but my daughter insisted and now I'm very glad she did!

Dreadful experience. This place looks like a fast food restaurant but the service is ridiculously slow, and I waited as long as I would in a proper sit-down restaurant. The staff take orders then wander around trying to find you once the food is eventually ready. The staff also do not seem to know the pricing on their own menus. It seems like they had a concept in mind for the place but have executed it really badly. Finally, the food is not great. My order was dry and unappetising. During a sunday lunch time only 1 person working, taking orders and cooking. Not alot of people there but still had to wait ages. Forgot to give us our drink. Food was horrendous didnt even eat it all tastes like it was cooked yesterday and warmed up for todays service. When you walk in it smells like an attic that has not been touched for years. There were sauces on the side but they have not been cleaned it god knows how long as there was dried splatters on them. Will not be coming back. Would say its cheap...
