Legends Desserts and Burger Bar Huddersfield — Restaurant in Kirklees

Came here for the 2nd time after a year and a half but this time dine in. Wasn't too bad the first time I had it. On this occasion I got the spicy dipped chicken burger meal which cost £5.95 and included fries and their Legends sauce.

Wasn't busy at all when I was there and waited approximately 15 minutes for my food but was worth it as the burger was fresh and piping hot. The server, Mariam was polite and brought the food to my table as opposed to me collecting it which was nice.

The burger was a good size and wasn't like a typical spicy dip burger as the sauce had a good flavour and a nice kick. The chicken fillet itself was also quite crispy and flavoursome too as well as being cooked well and wasn't too salty. The mayonnaise used also had a good flavor and gave a nice creamy taste as well as the cheese slice. Chips were standard and can't complain and there was a large portion. The legends sauce was good and tasted like Big Mac/burger sauce was a stringer pickle flavour.

It was a good but my only gripe with the meal was that a drink was not included and for £5.95, I feel like it should contain a can or cup with it or if the price was upped to around £6.50, I'd be happy if it included a drink can. But still was a good experience and I liked that wipes were...

I got a takeaway burger from here on a quiet Tuesday night and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered just a basic cheeseburger meal from the lady at the register. She was friendly and served me politely and with a smile, however when she was taking my payment she said that the prices had increased and the prices on the menu behind her were outdated. The price had only gone up 50p so I didn't mind this much, it was still only £7 for a meal, which isn't bad these days.

When collecting my order, the lady informed me that they had given me a free bonus item in my bag, which was a very unexpected but pleasant surprise. I only waited around 10 mins for my order to be prepared.

The food was good. The burger was tasty, albeit a bit on the smaller side, but the portion of chips was quite large. Both items tasted fresh and I had no complaints. The freebie was a portion of hot fudge brownie with vanilla ice cream, which was actually quite large and honestly maybe my favourite item that I received. I'm thankful for the free dessert but even without the food would have gone down very well.

Overall, I really enjoyed my experience. The price was affordable, the food was fresh and decently sized, and the service was friendly. I'll definitely give it another...

I’m honestly very upset and disappointed with my experience at this branch in Huddersfield. The staff were extremely disrespectful and showed no care or empathy when I tried to resolve what was clearly an honest mistake.

I placed an order through Uber Eats, but the app didn’t confirm it, so I placed another one — not realizing the first had already gone through. Both identical orders were sent to the same address, at the same time, with the same driver and same destination. When I called to explain and asked if they could at least refund the extra delivery fee, the staff were rude, dismissive, and made me feel as if it was my fault.

What hurts most is how unkind and unprofessional they were — they refused to help, even though it was obvious the duplicate order was accidental. I ended up paying £40 for a burger and a piece of cake, which is just unreasonable. It honestly felt like they took advantage of the situation instead of helping a loyal customer. The order arrived in minutes as if they were rushing before I can even be able to fix the situation

This experience has completely changed my opinion of this place, and I truly hope no one else has to go through...
