Coffeevolution is an outstanding independent coffee shop that deserves the success it has established over the 8 years of me coming here and the community support it has received. The barristas and staff are talented, friendly and extremely helpful in making this the perfect coffee establishment in Huddersfield. The atmosphere has a fantastic balance between quirkiness and sophistication and is perfect for any type of customer, definitely an open minded place that welcomes all. Ofcourse this would be pointless if the quality of the products did not reflect the excellent service and atmosphere, I'm happy to tell you that the coffee is fantastic and I have recommended this place to many of my friends, switching them from the dark side of Costa to the bright side of independent smooth tasting coffee at Coffeevolution. Overall I would recommend to take the plunge, visit Coffeevolution in Huddersfield and I promise that you will be extremely satisfied. I completely trust the staff in strengthening my promise to you. I  haven't even mentioned the homemade menu and fresh cakes to accompany your coffee indulging experience and again, I'm happy to say that all the products here will reinforce your fantastic experience. I really feel like a part of a friendly family here and this is why I have to keep coming back. It's brilliant to say that this coffee shop has helped in the darkest times of my life and even more wonderful to say that a small independent business has had this effect on my life. I will forever love this place and I'm certain you would...

Coffee Revolution review: A really cosy, intimate space that’s perfect for writing or just relaxing. We ordered two hot chocolates which came with complimentary whipped cream, marshmallows and chocolate dusting and two sandwiches. Sandwiches were filling so you got your moneys worth. You’re asked what kind of bread you’d like, and can get recommendations from staff too. It’s table service so you can relax in the space whilst your food is being made. Because of the reasons mentioned, the space is very popular with yummy mummy’s, students and people that want somewhere to work so be fast if you want to get a table. The setting had a nice, rustic and relaxed feel. Down stairs was little draughty, wish there was a little heater. We had a lot of time before our train and this was a cute place to stop off, would visit again. We were warmly...

The best coffee I've had in some time.

I've ordered two different sandwiches, one on panini the other sourdough. The breads got mixed up. Not a big thing as we've shared halves of each meal. For our liking there was too much sweet chilli sauce in the turkey sandwich and too much chutney in the veggie one. These condiments obfuscated the flavour of the sandwiches' ingredients and made them taste cheap.

The contactless payment hasn't gone through on one occasion, so I had to enter my pin on a massive screen visible by few of the customers behind me. The worst terminal solution from privacy point I've seen.

That said, the place is dog friendly, the atmosphere is good but the coffee is that one thing that would make me go back there...

I came here to try their coffee because it’s a pretty popular spot, but unfortunately, my experience wasn’t great. I specifically asked for my flat white to be extra hot, but it was barely warm. My friend didn’t enjoy the hot chocolate either. On top of that, my cup wasn’t clean ,,there were stains on the bottom,, and the table we sat at still had crumbs from previous customers. The only positive thing was the friendly staff, they were kind. Overall, if they paid more attention to cleanliness and customer requests, it could be a much better place. But sadly, it was messy enough that I wouldn’t want to come back.
