Without doubt one of the best restaurants in Huddersfield. Me and my girlfriend have been many times over the years and I've never Ince come away and had anything negative to say. We had the mixed hot meze sharing platter for 2 people to start and It was absolutley gorgeous! Then I had the chicken marmaris and my girlfriend had the lamb guvec. They both came out on this ceramic skillet bowls so whilst you was eating it, the sauce was still bubbling away meaning jt was always nice and hot! I had the caramel cheesecake and it was honestly, the best cheese cake I've ever had. My girlfriend chose the home made baklava and it was perfect! The staff are some.of.the nicest people ever, always making sure you gave everything you need, asking if you want any more drinks and always up for a little chat. If your looking for somewhere to go whether it be for a special occasion, date night or just for something to eat. THe Ephesus Is the place to go!

Quite a nice Turkish restaurant. The interior doesn't hit much as Turkish except for some paintings with Turkish landmarks and such. I ordered Turkish 'cacik' (read as /jajik/) and chicken iskender. Even though I didn't order any drink, I was offered a glass of water with ice and a slice of lemon. Cacik was really nice with that Turkish bread and some kinda sauce which was absolutely amazing. As for the 'iskender' I was expecting something really special, but somehow I didn't get the wow-effect. Served with 'bulgur' it was a completely different way of serving it. Usually it is served on a metal oval-shaped plate, the half of it is filled with yoghurt and the other half with meat and bread, and a cherry-on-top is melted butter on that meat'n'bread thing. That actually was the least I was expecting. Anyhow, it was good and on the whole I enjoyed the meals.

Loved the food ! Everything was really nice , comfy and warm ! Ambiance was very nice to dine in and eat . I tried before in different turkish resturants but the food here i liked it and was different from other resturants . Staff was friendly and greated warmly which was really nice . They guided us what to order in main course as me and my family wanted to try all turkish taste!! 😊🙂 It was the first trip and we ordered hot meze platter , chicken saute , chicken marmaris , prawn cocktail , mix platter and some turkish bread to go with it !! Everything we ordered was yummy but i loved hot meze platter as it Was full of variety of everything . ! It included fried hallumi , spinch rolls , breadcrumbs coated green pepper , chickpea balls with hummus , halal peperonni and some more stuff in that platter ! It was good for two people but we were four so we ordered two of thoes platters !! Then we ordered something sweet , like newyork cheese cake they had some more sweet dishes in their menu so it was big basket of options !! They had turkish sweet as well which was awesome and i loved eating that. It's called baklawa !! It's kind of stuffed puff pastry dipped in sweet syrup but it is kind of crispy one !! It was filled with cashews and something . But it was nice . Cheese cake was with fresh fruit and cream ! Then we ordered vanilla icecream which was with cream and fruit as well. It was yummy as well After we finished dinner we ordered turkish tea at the end and got a mint toffee as well !! Overall this was the best fullfilling dinner in this resturant which is sometimes goes wrong if you get a bad resturant ! Lol Would like to point out the toilets as well because people like it clean as everybody prefers clean toilets ! 🙂 It may not be important but i thought it's worthwhile mentioning !

Second time again i went the next day with some guests and they offered us dersertand turkish tea on the house !❤ which was really cool way of showing courtesy ! But important thing was my guests loved the food and ambiance ! 🙂 Would definetly go back to have some...

I have eaten Turkish food throughout the UK and in Turkey and this is by far the worst inauthentic Turkish restaurant I've been to.

For the starters I had a portion of hummus which didn't taste fresh and was very gritty. It was akin to something out of a supermarket hummus tub. I also got the sujuk starter which was overcooked hard sujuk (spicy Turkish sausage) in a bland marinara and it felt reheated and not fresh (normally you'd expect to see sujuk on its own). To add insult to injury there was no basket of bread offered with ezme (Turkish pepper chilli paste) or garlic sauce which is usually a staple in every Turkish Restaurant. They didn't offer a choice of either condiment at all when requested. The speed at which the starters were given (5 minutes) should have been a red flag. The grilled halloumi was also ordered and it was okay.

For the mains, chicken shish was ordered and it was extremely bland as all I could taste was the bitter pomegranate molasses. Usually one would expect to taste the pul biber and paprika undertones but this was non existent.

The most outrageous thing was the bill which came up to £53 which was not worth it. Would not recommend to anyone who want to experience genuine...

Unfortunately not the best experience. We booked bottomless brunch but they had no booking. Was told no conformation no option. My friend booked on the phone and was not asked for email to confirm. It states for bottomless brunch must call to book. No apology but said they would accommodate us. Fairly quick to take drinks but ther were so warm when they arrived had ro ask for ice. Had to ask for then to take food order. No pizza or pasta at 4pm. Only veg option was a veg kebab. Basically oily veg on a plate. Friends food cold. Main did not arrive until after the 90 min brunch was over. Service very slow. Was not busy and only 5 of us. Service lacked effort and manager was extremely rude when challenged with the poor service. Gentleman to be fair willing to look for resolution but was too little too late. Long wates, warm drinks and rude staff. My friend who recommended says she's been loads and always good. Hopefully...
