The Grillish Food — Restaurant in Kirklees

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. Myself and my partner ordered food from here and it came 40 minutes late and wasn’t even our order. My partner rang the restaurant and they shouted down the phone at him and then hung up. I tried ringing them and was shouted down the phone at too. The man kept saying ‘We’re too busy to sort this’ VERY INCOMPETENT. So, after paying £20 for a takeaway, we’re left with food we didn’t order (which we don’t like)

To the man on the phone, If you can’t handle working under pressure, don’t work in a busy takeaway dealing with customers. You’re rude and too much of a stress head for the job. Maybe listen to the customers needs before jumping the gun and shouting...

I used to go to grillish years ago and the food was good along with the service. But recently I have gone and it seems as its under new ownership and its not great. First of all, I ordered 2 sets of grilled wings and chips and both set were slightly uncooked wings which both me and my partner were not satisfied. The service wasn't upto scratch like not giving sauces and when asked for sauces, am getting dirty looks to ask for 2 sauces for 2 meals. The only positive is the seating inside. The advice I would give to the owners and staff here is learn how to cook food before...

Decent grilled chicken, could easily get adicted to the flavour Good meal options and fast service The rice are the good pilou rice, authentic flavour Chicken has a tasty marinade, not overly spicy, grilled nicely not burnt, skin was crispy and chicken was tender not dry. The oil was old and it tasted of fish, someone fried a fish burger in the same vat and ruined the oil for chips and wings. All in all love the chicken they make The staff are lovely very helpful kind people, the old school Bollywood music playing in the back was nice to listen to...
