This is one of Lancaster's hidden gems. It's totally unassuming and even though I went to school in the city for seven years I never noticed that it was there! However, when I was shown it, I was astounded that I had never been before.
You enter through an east Asian supermarket opposite the bus stops on Common Garden Street, then go up the staircase at the back right of the shop. Inside, the decoration is a little sparse; my initial impressions were that it reminded me of a classroom. I wasn't expecting much, to be honest.
However, when the food came -- which was very very quick after ordering -- any reservations I might have had disappeared.
