Usually great with collection but...
My girlfriend ordered us pizzas to collect this evening. She ordered a hot dog and a sausage and pepperoni and I went to collect it.
When I got home I realised the pizza was wrong. Heād given us an American hot but me and my girlfriend hate spice... sorry!
Anyway, as I only live around the corner, I asked if he would make the right pizza and come and swap it.
He told me he was not prepared to do this and so I asked for a refund because I wasnāt that bothered about waiting for another pizza anyway.
He then went on to tell me there was no way he could have made a mistake and all the phone calls are recorded so he would not give a refund.
So I asked to hear the recording. He said I could get it in three days so I humoured him. I asked him how I could get hold of the recording as I was now curious to know who was in the wrong.
He refused to give me the details, so I asked to speak to a manager.
He told me there he was the manager and there was nobody above him to speak to, not even at head office. He again refused to tell me how to get the recording. He told me to visit a website that he read really quick and when I asked him to repeat it, he hung up.
So I called him back... get this! He told me that if he was right, i had to pay him the price of the pizza again and if I was right he would give a refund!
I said Iām not gambling with you mate haha!
But I still asked how to get ahold of the recording and he hung up without answering my question.
Honestly, I thought it was hilarious that he tried to gamble with me over him getting an order wrong so Iām not putting in a formal complaint.
I just hope someone reads this and provides him with...

I didnāt stop that they even gave us the wrong sources what we have to pay they were delivered Iām seriously losing the will with these people Just to let you know Iām giving this one star to the poor driver who actually delivered our food not to the people actually made it I donāt even feel like eating enough I have to put it in the bin because I donāt trust them thank you This is an acceptable I hope they realised itās been more than two hours now we are all hungry starving but obviously the guy who took a order doesnāt care. Please give us our money back because this is appauling on a food service. Anybody anybody that lives in Leeds please do not use that site to order any food please use one in Meanwood or in Crossgates if you really want to enjoy it...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOrdered for the 3rd time tonight from this branch of Papa John's. Last week they failed to deliver the correct pizza, subsequently we waited a while for the replacement.
Tonight, again they failed to deliver what we ordered. I was assured that we would receive the rest of the order a.s.a.p. I'd heard nothing for 45 minutes, therefore I rang and was assured again that item would be sent out a.s.a.p. 35 minutes passed without it arriving. Thus I rang up and asked for it to refunded and the worker who answered the phone was rude and hung up. When I rang up again to determine that I would receive I refund, he obviously lied with an feable excuse to why he purposally hung up.
Considering the price we pay, we expect a first class service. The pizza was at most average, and the customer service is abysmal. I'd advise them to buck their ideas up but I suspect that they wouldn't listen. We won't be using them again! If you're reading this review, please heed my advice and go elsewhere (or just get from a supermarket). Papa John's...you should...
