Glass Onion — Restaurant in Liverpool

Been here a few times before and always loved it , and recently been visiting a bit more as me and my friends have fallen in love with it !! After losing a lot of my favourite vegan/vegetarian cafes to the pandemic I'm so glad glass onion is still here, the setting is so homely, the food is delicious and I love the vegan cakes too! Me and my friends love to come for lunch and a milkshake (or 2) and the scones are also amazing. Really lovely community feel to the place and can't wait to recommend it to everyone I know ! I had missed how amazing the indie cafes are in Liverpool. Glass Onion was just what we were looking for, with friendly, swift staff providing tasty goodness alongside gold hearted banter.

I had the veggie fry with very good sausages, the kid had some pancakes which were swiftly dispatched and my wife got the star of the show with an amazing halloumi and green olive salad. I'm not even a big fan of olives but it still looked (and tasted, so I was told) amazing.

I adore this cafe and attend regularly. The serving staff are so friendly and welcoming. The food is amazing and it's so fairly priced. One of the few remaining vegan friendly cafes that serve top notch tastey food for a fraction of the cost of some other vegan places. It can get busy so we had a bit of a wait for our food today but I'm glad they are getting lots of custom because I would be gutted if they ever closed.
