I love it here. The staff is friendly, the food, cakes and bakery items are ALWAYS fresh and good, the ice cream is fabulous. A very nice atmosphere, really enjoyable for a day out with friends, good for going out when you actually want to have conversations and don't like loud music. The place is full of happy energy, both because of the very nice staff and because of the nice clientele, I go there about twice a week, getting refreshed there when I have stuff to do in the city centre. It has become one of the places I always go out with friends, and never, not even once, had a bad experience here. I once was missunderstood by the staff in the custom drink I wanted to have (coffee with the pistachio sauce they have reserved for hot chocolate - a really good sauce made by them. They thought I wanted Pistachio Monin), they immediately realised the mistake, judging by the confused expressiom of mine rather than anything I've told them, threw away the coffee, and did the perfect one for me in no time. I came to know the staff and it's always a pleasure being served by them, as they not only offer you fresh cakes and food, but are giving them to you with the biggest smile on their face. Now, they opened a new restaurant upstairs (Brunchin). I don't know anything about that one as much, and I'm talking about the downstairs part. But as far as I've seen, the one upstairs, although another restaurant in itself, is...

I’d give them 0 stars if I could. Let me start with the fact that this business supports the Tories and organised catering for them on 2 occasions. The place used to be a nice casual cafe however now it became a big pretentious place and very overpriced. A few £ for a tiny piece of cake! The staff is nice enough, it’s a shame the owner treats them like garbage though. The cakes have fish gelatine in them which they don’t mention so if you’re a vegan or vegetarian then you might unknowingly eat an animal product. It blows my mind that the hygiene rating is 5 while there’s an ant infestation in most of their kitchen spaces. Enjoy your food! One manager is running the whole place and all the businesses the owner owns. The staff is underpaid, untrained, overworked and treated horribly. How this place is still running successfully is beyond me. My friend worked in one of their kitchens and absolutely hated it (yes, that’s how I found about all the above). I will never set my foot in there and give them any money especially since they support a party that ruined my city that they also live and have a business in. It’s a shame as their coffee and food is nice but it’s absolutely...

We were really hungry and took a gamble on eating at Hey Farina! Williamson Square isn't really known as a hotspot for fine dining but we (3 adults, 2 teens) were happy to have our preconceptions challenged. The vibe is a bit cafe-ish but the display of Italian breads and street food was enticing. Service was cheerful, prompt and attentive. Foodwise, all the bread based stuff we had was exceptional, from the mozzarella and Parma ham panini on sourdough to the the focaccia and panzerotto. Really event. Made to order salad was good and generous. The only slight slip up was with one of the pasta dishes; the oriechette had barely a trace of the tender stem broccoli and anchovy the menu promised, but was tasty nonetheless. The ravioli with creamed potato sauce and spicy sausage was generous and delicious. When giving feedback, the owner was apologetic where necessary and was quick to make things right. Top notch gelato too. A surprising little gem in a neglected part of town. We'd deffo...

Friendly Italian cafe. We got coffees, aranchini and pizza. Everything was reasonably priced and food tasted really good. The pizza was fresh and had a good crust with a good amount of filing. The aranchini balls were served warm with this tomato and basil sauce, the sauce was amazing - strong basil aroma running through it and it went really well with the aranchini. The ball was well stuffed with rice and cheese, very filling. Coffee was not so great and not that cheap, it had a strong acidic kick to it. They saw that we were studying so I think they didn't kick us out even when counting up the tills, very friendly place. The WiFi is unfortunately very poor signal - or at least by the window seats and there are no plugs to charge your laptops. But cosy small cafe tucked away in one of the quieter streets. Recommend a visit :)

I've always walked past here and it's been busy, so i finally decided to try this place last year and wow what a wonderful place! I normally get a Latte and my partner gets an espresso both of which are lovely. The selection of freshly baked/made pastries, cake etc are incredible. So many options to choice from. Great selection of ice cream, drinks both hot and cold included beer, spirits and wines. The smoothes are really refreshing. Yesterday we decided to sit inside with a coffee and tried freshly baked and made bakery items- this didn't disappoint! The chorizo, hamamd cheese 'pasty'was unbelievable- we would of happily ate more. Lovely atmosphere both inside & out Plenty of sitting areas Outside has heaters Great selection of freshly baked items Clean Reasonable priced. 100% recommend

I visited this place this afternoon with my family , the place was clean and a bit crowded and maybe the reason is that everything looks delicious 🤤 my cake was wonderful and my Hot chocolate with baileys was really delicious! I can’t say the same about my partner cappuccino ( as this is a Italian place I was expecting a better taste but I didn’t find any different with a coffee from a petrol station) but his cake was the same as mine 🤤🤤. The place is dog friendly or at least my got in with my dog after ask someone from the stuff because there is not any sign about it. Toilet was a bit clean as I said they were busy with customers so it’s understandable but my mother is law said she didn’t find paper in her toilet. I will visit this place again in a different time , lest busy I hope.
