SGT Peppers — Restaurant in Liverpool

I am taking the time to leave a review about the appalling service we received by a female member of bar staff. When my husband ordered drinks for us and our friends when he asked for a pint of Guinness she gave him 2 half’s when he politely asked her could she change it, she refused, when he said ‘that wasn’t good enough’, she said ‘what are you going to do about it’ and when my husband asked to speak to the manager she gave him the middle finger. Manager came and said nothing, no apology for disgusting bar staff behaviour and simply handed over the requested pint of Guinness. We know lots of people go to Sargent Peppers, especially from outside of the city- this type of service would leave an awful impression of the city and the service we provide. We will NOT be going back and will be recommending others don’t go either, if they want to receive any kind of acceptable customer service. Midweek visit just before Christmas. A busy bar and the young guy singing and playing guitar certainly knew how to get the crowd going. Toilets are downstairs and were clean when I visited them. Free entry and next door to the Cavern Club.

We returned to this same bar during the week commencing 4 July 2022. Amazed at how much the prices have increased. A pint of lager and a bottle of cider cost over £10. Great atmosphere and very busy as it was Graduation Week for those who gained their honours in the year of 2020 and couldn't attend ceremonies due to Covid-19. Would think twice now about going back here - there are some great bars with the same entertainment artistes, more comfortable seating and more reasonable drink prices. Found this place on a whim by the Cavern Club not letting us in the day because i was part of a large stag group. The vibe on Saturday was absolutely amazing, the live singers had the crowd going at 11am. We ended up staying in there from 11am till 4pm (was meant to be exploring Liverpool but the music and vibe was that good that we didn't want to leave)

Ended up coming back at 7pm and having our night out in there, the place was absolutely heaving and couldn't have asked for a greater night out.

Never been to a place with a happier crowd, was even having a laugh with the bouncers everytime we popped outside for a ciggy.
