Went for an afternoon with Paul Sculthorpe (St Helens Rugby league legend), organised by Dominic and Fiona. Absolutely, fantastic afternoon and experience. The pub is a very well looked after establishment, fantastic range of beers and a great atmosphere too. Everyone in the pub, whether staff or patrons were friendly and helpful. Nice, clean & spacious bar. A good selection of German beer so ill always be happy with that. Friendly welcoming staff. Can't believe I've walked past so many times without popping in.
