The Fab4 Cafe, Pier Head - Beatles-themed food and drink — Restaurant in Liverpool

A The Beatles cafe. Atmosphere-wise: it is full of the Beatles pictures, play the Beatles songs, sell the Beatles merchandise and chocolates as well. Food-wise: I only bought two cups of teas, so far so good. It costed me £4.40, standard price for two cups of tea. Service wise: it is so good! I asked for extra chocolates and they gave me 3 chocolates more. Also I asked the waiter, since I've got sea sick after the ferry trip.What was the best drink I could have and he recommended tea with milk. I tried that and put a lot of sugar as well, it worked to make me stop feeling dizzy! Thank you so much man! I forgot to ask your name, but you deserved to be an employee of the month! The cafe was certainly not Fab! They'd run out of caffeinated coffee and only had decaf. How can a cafe run out of coffee? We had to go to one counter to order and pay, then que at another to collect the drinks. When my husband pointed out that one of our coffees had been sitting there for about five minutes cooling down by the time the guy making them noticed he was there, he was unapologetic and just said "How was I supposed to know you were there? I was facing the coffee machine." It's your job to notice your customers! The two stars are because the cake was nice. I wouldn't go back though, or recommend this cafe. As cafés go, this is not great. It feels a little style over substance. Although the style is lacking as well. Feels squeezed in to the side.

I wouldn't say I was particularly impressed overall. The pizza appeared to have been forgotten. We did have to wait a while and for the price paid, overall not great. Had I have known the size, I would have passed.

That being said, if you want a drink, grab a milkshake, they are lovely!!!

Staff just seemed a little rushed. We all make mistakes (they're only human) but to forget the order before you've even brought anything over and to not look straight ahead when bringing out the drinks isn't brilliant.

Overall, I wouldn't rush back...
