Stepping into the Liverpool branch of Hooters, I was immediately struck by the vibrant atmosphere, pulsating with the energy of football fans and cheerful chatter. The orange hues and iconic decor promised an experience steeped in Americana. Alas, my anticipation was soon to meet a tragic downfall.
The menu, a seemingly reliable array of classic American fare, beckoned with promises of culinary delight. Yet, this was the siren’s call that led to my epicurean shipwreck. The wings, a supposed hallmark of Hooters, arrived as lukewarm shadows of their potential. Their flavor was a muted whisper, a far cry from the bold, spicy symphony I had imagined. The burger, another staple, was a sad testament to the burger world—a dry, flavorless patty entombed in a lackluster bun. Each bite was a reminder of what could have been, a lamentation of taste and texture.
However, in the midst of this gastronomic despair, a beacon of light shone through. The service, oh, the service! It was nothing short of exemplary. The staff moved with a grace and efficiency that could rival the finest of dining establishments. Attentive, friendly, and imbued with a genuine desire to enhance our experience, the servers were the unsung heroes of the night. Their smiles were warm, their recommendations sincere, and their attention to detail impeccable.
In the end, Hooters Liverpool presented a dichotomy of experiences—a culinary misadventure redeemed by the extraordinary service. It was a place where the heart and effort of the staff shone brilliantly, valiantly battling the mediocrity of the food. If you seek a vibrant atmosphere and impeccable service, this is your haven. But if your quest is for unforgettable food, prepare for the bittersweet taste of...

Google shows the place open at 12:00 pm. We arrived the place at 1 pm but it's still closed, then we call and asked, they said they open at 3 pm that day. Not sure it's only that day or everyday, so I'd suggest to call before you visit.
For all you can eat wings, you can have dry rub wings & saucy wings for your preference. It cost £14.99/ person (service fee will be added at check out).
For dry rubs, they have 4 flavours to choose; 6 flavours for saucy (if you don't eat too spicy, then the options will be down to 4 flavours as 2 are extremely spicy according to the waitress). Chipotle honey flavor from saucy options was unavailable on the day we visited ☹️
Each round of the wings come with curly fries, you can request no fries.
We had Daytona beach & Samurai terayaki for first around (saucy); second round Carribbean jerk & Garlic Habanero (dry rubs).
Each flavours come with 10 pcs minimum, if you have small stomach, you won't be able to try too many flavours.
👍Daytona beach: Only little bit spicy, whoever can handle Shin ramen can definitely handle this one, spicy level way below Shin ramen. Great vinegar (not too strong) and sweet flavor.
👍Samurai terayaki: Sweet terayaki sauce, taste great as well.
❌Dry rubs: Garlic Habanero & Caribbean Jerk. We don't recommend the dry rubs as both flavours we had barely had flavor on them. We could smell very little bit of the flavor, but couldn't really taste the flavor unfortunately. We thought the wings were plain.
Overall the restaurant was very spacious, and clean. The person answered the call was super friendly, so as the girls in the restaurant. Tasty wings (saucy ones only),...
Read moreDiscrimination ! + Service Charge. If I pay the same price as everyone else, then why can I not dine in the main hall ?
If you are a party of only two, apparently, the manager will only allow you to sit in the entrance area.
The entrance area is made up of about 10 mini tables (sits two). From this seating area you get the Draft from the entrance, if your unlucky your in the window like a sales pitch showing its popular. You also get to hear the fun and laughter from the main hall you see on the Web site.
We heard the Hooters girls singing their songs, laughter and cheering, a much better atmosphere than being on display. That was the area I hoped to sit after visiting the Web site.
If I'm paying top dollar for simple food, then I would have hoped to be part of the fun. Even after asking to sit in the main hall, our request was turned down due to the Managment again were told. There were lots of spaces in the main hall, so as stated earlier I do feel we were discriminated for not being a big bucks party of more than two.
The food was OK, but nothing special, the girls were polite and helpful, however when it come to the bill we were not told of a £6 service charge added to the bill, I normally ask for that to be removed.
Hooters is geared up for larger groups where it comes into its own from what I could see, lots of attention, and songs to be had.
£55 for Cheese burger + coke + Fries & BBQ Chicken wings + cheese sticks + Coke.
Would I visit again in a party of two. NO! Would I visit in a larger group YES.
I don't see why we can not sit in the main hall regardless of the size...
