This is a must visit experience when in Liverpool. What can I say about this tour?... RLB360 has got to be one of my favourite experiences in the UK. The tour is exceptionally well organised, informative, and provides some of the best 360 views of Liverpool, Mersey estuary, Wirral, and beyond. The tower begins by taking the stairs on Water street to the basement of the iconic Liver Building. Once inside and checked in there are several information displays situated around the room that provide some amazing facts about this engineering treat. When it's time to take the tour a host will begin by telling you about the tour and what to expect and some of the historical points to consider when walking around. At all times the host remains with the group and the group sizes are fairly small (approx. 12 people). Once the briefing is complete, you then take a lift to the 10th floor, passing the Liverpool vaults on route to the lift. The 10th floor provides a good teaser for the main event giving you some excellent views of the river Mersey, Royal Albert Dock, and the Liver Building clock face. From this floor, you then take the stairs to floor 14 where you enter the room behind the clock face. From here you experience an interactive film showing you the history of the building, Liverpool, and significant moments in the City's history. After the film you have time to get up close to the clock mechanisms and take photos. Finally, the tour then continues to the main event - floor 15. A short climb up a spiral staircase leads to the clock tower platform famous for many things and used as a filming location for films such as the Batman. From this viewing platform you get ample time to take in the 360 views across the city and hear the chimes of the clock. The views were simply stunning. This tour is simply excellent for architecture lovers and history fanatics. I'm definitely going to return. The whole family loved this experience. It's also excellent value for money at approx £40 for a family of four. Can't recommend this...
Read moreI only gave three stars because I'm a wheelchair user & it wasn't possible for me to access the full tour because there are over 100 steps. I went to the visitor centre twice in 4 days. Most people were very helpful but the managers I believe were both jobs worth. As I wasn't able to access the full tour I asked if I could have a discount if I bought anything from the shop. Both managers said no. I may have bought £30 worth of merchandise but they said no. Just 10% would have done. Macy the manager on Thursday August 21st 2025 also said no to someone taking photographs for me. Something that Shannon did on my first visit. I also suffer with anxiety & this event was very stressful. It's even stressful writing this because it's like I'm reliving the experience. I wanted more pictures because the zoom wasn't used on my first photographs.Macy did make a photograph for me of Everton new stadium but in my opinion that's the least she could do. I think what I asked for was reasonable. Managers need to realize that just by doing something small but extra can make someone's day & also lead to good reviews but now I'm writing this negative review & I won't ever go back to the Liver Building which is sad because it's so beautiful & iconic. Also a bad experience like this can completely ruin someone who who suffers with...
Read moreJust had a fabulous 360 tour of the Liver Building with our tour guide Kaya today. We we're on the last tour of the day (4.30pm) and were fortunate enough to be the only two on it. Kaya was so friendly and informative and added plenty of little nuggets that we hadn't heard about before. The view from the first viewing platform (underneath the clock face) was superb. There were signs up to show you what landmarks to look for and Kaya gave some interesting facts regarding the size of the clock and its hands. I don't know how she remembers all the facts but she made the tour thoroughly entertaining. The next level takes you to the workings of the clock and a spectacular immersive film on the history of Liverpool. Honestly this was like being in a Disney show, very imaginative. If you don't like loud noises then you can borrow ear defenders. The final level was up to the bell. From here you could see the iconic liver birds. I won't say their names, ask your tour guide what they are as it has a funny story. So to round up the tour, we can honestly say it was fabulous, made even better by such a knowledgeable tour guide. Would definitely recommend paying a visit and well done to Kaya...
