7oZ Coffee — Restaurant in London

Appalling customer service by the owner. I came here to do some work while I was getting my car Mot. And I needed to make a call. Outside on roadside was busy and loud so I came inside and proceeded with my call. I could barely hear my conversion. Even if I wasn’t on a call it was abnormally loud. Yes I forgot my earphones. I asked owner politely to turn it down a bit while I was on the call. She refused.

After my call I confronted her to ask why she did not turn down the music. I said you can turn it back up after I was done. My call was 10 mins. She Said they don’t cater to individual requests. There was no one else inside. She proceeded to argue with me and not listening and kept interrupting me. Had the audacity to say this is not a library or meeting room. I pointed out other people were on laptop outside. They should be Lucky to have people wanting to sit and work. Extremely rude, incompetent, lack people skills, unfriendly, and argumentative. They don’t know how to give good customer...

All those 5 star reviews, I had to go and check the place myself. Well, so as suspected, reviews “best coffee I had in my life” were left obviously by friends of the people who run the place coffee average at most tiny place with only few seats - think more of a coffee to go rather than place to relax with a book really awkward staff making you feel so uncomfortable, I drank my espresso as quickly as I could and left. overpriced coffee beans. They wanted 11£ for beans that I buy online for less than 6£ with free delivery

I really didn’t enjoy the place. Might give it another try when desperate for coffee and update review.

This tiny unprepossessing cafe opposite Clapham North tube serves the most exquisite coffee. We tried it only because Hopper was heaving and this was relatively empty. We were glad we couldn’t get into Hopper. The proprietor seems serious about giving customers the best coffee experience. Seating is limited: a few bench seats inside and a few tables outside. There is a small selection of very interesting looking pastries, but we just wanted the coffee. A relative has just moved into the area. We will be visiting her much...
