We were attacked last night by a girl and a guy who proceeded to bite, punch us and pull our hair out. The bouncers not only watched this happen but then when they eventually did something they pulled me and my friend away (who was trying to get this girl off of me) and this girl then attacked my cousin and no one would help her. At this point a guy came over and starting punching and biting my friend and I as the bouncer held us in place. So not only did the security leave my cousin defenceless as she was attacked, but effectively held us in place for a guy to attack us. When this stopped they then tried to kick my friend out in her underwear (as the guy had ripped her skirt off). When we finally convinced them to let her put her skirt back on, the head of security locked my friend and I in a room and wouldn't let us see my cousin who was kicked outside by herself at 2am. My friend called the police as they weren't letting us leave. The head of security finally let me go get my cousin but wouldn't let me come back to get my friend, who was still locked in this room. It wasn't until the police arrived that they got upstairs to let my friend out. All the while the bouncers were incredibly rude to my cousin who was being forced outside by herself early in the morning, with no interest in helping her find us.
I cannot explain how upset and vulnerable we felt during this time. Worsened by rude staff who didn't care about what had happened or if we remained safe. They did not adhere to standards or practices that should be expected of bouncers. The club should be ashamed they employ staff of this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFront door security were pleasant and polite the security working in the venue the majority of them need to learn some manners a simple tap on the shoulder or an excuse would work instead of pushing/barging through the crowd... Any why do you have so many security?? When you have ample CCTV.
Most of the bar staff looked like they didn't want to be there. There was a young girl working in one of the upstairs rooms I should have got her name as she was very polite and welcoming. As for the bar prices š¤Æ. It's only an old brewery building on Brick Lane in East London.... Ā£14.50 for a double vodka and cranberry juice š„“
The venue itself is ok with a couple of different sized rooms. The ladies toilets were a small stream at one point... I'm really surprised that no slipped and seriously hurt themselves.... What does your toilet attendant do ???
The sound system was ok.... Have heard better.... And what's the point of having the set up in the courtyard when you can't turn up the bass ??? It's absolutely...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreā 1 star ā I feel sexually violated and will be pursuing legal action
I went to 93 Feet East on Sunday and was subjected to an invasive and deeply inappropriate search by your security staff. I was repeatedly and aggressively groped in my genital area under the guise of a āsearch.ā This was not a standard pat-down ā it was unwanted, forceful, and sexually violating.
There is no circumstance in which this behaviour is acceptable, and I did not give consent for such invasive contact. Your venue's failure to train and oversee your staff properly has enabled what I believe to be criminal conduct at your entrance.
I am in the process of filing formal complaints with the police, the Security Industry Authority (SIA), and your local licensing authority, and will pursue every legal recourse available. Others should be warned: what happened to me was not routine, it was abuse.
I hope no one else has to go through this...
