Anna's Thai Restaurant (Croydon) — Restaurant in London

We ordered from Anna's and have now vowed never to do so again. We've ordered before once and it took an hour and half to arrive, but that was on a Saturday. So this time we ordered on a Monday evening, two dishes and we're told 30-50 min wait. It was a ridiculous time bracket but we didn't complain.

40 mins later we decided to call to just ask the status and were told 15 mins. So 15 mins later we called up again and were told the delivery guy had JUST left and would be with us in 10-15 mins. We were peeved but thought ok, it's fine. 15 mins later and still no food. We called again and the manager told me "I told you he'd just left, he's on his way" I said that that information was of no use to me, he should have been there about half an hour ago. The manager said they were busy, I find that hard to believe on a Monday but said he needed to do something about the order and it was unacceptable. He'd promised a wait of no more than 50 mins. He proceeded to raise his voice and change his tone to an extremely rude one. I said he needed to sort something out for us at which point he told me to "F* OFF" and put the phone down on me. I was outraged. He'd made us wait for our food, he SHOULD have been apologetic but instead he told me to F* off.

I rang again to state that you should not speak to anyone like that and instead he told me to do whatever the f* I wanted and slammed the phone down again.

10 mins later the delivery guy FINALLY turns up. My fiancé tells him it's unacceptable for someone to swear at me like that and all he said was to sort it out with his manager. But his manager kept putting the phone down on us!?! So the delivery guy told us that he didn't have time to call up his manager - at which we were astonished! We told him he needs to give us the food free, he refused and refused to call his manager as it would take too much of his precious time so we sent the food packing.

If I ever go there again, I'll make sure it's on a busy day and the whole restaurant hears how the manager told a young lady (who was well within her rights to complain when a delivery takes an hour and half having been told 50 mins max) to "F* OFF".

I don't think I've ever been sworn at by a member of staff at any other restaurant before. Really needs to learn the art of...

AVOID. THE WORST RESTAURANT I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. This was meant to be a family meal for my mum's birthday. There were 9 adults and 2 children. I will get straight to the point - The food came either undercooked, overcooked or doused in soya sauce to cover up stale/mushy RICE. The pad Thai was doused in a load of sweet and sour sauce! For starters I was served a (not so) lovely platter including RAW CHICKEN SATAY! Unfortunately, I didn't realise it was raw until I had already eaten some! My sister complained but the manager handled the situation appallingly! None of our mains were edible! My sister spoke to the manager, explained that we were not willing to pay for food that was not in a fit state to eat but the manager had the audacity to argue with her and tell her to pay for it! He stood their arguing for ages while I was in the toilet throwing up my starter and while my family and toddlers were Sat there hungry with indible tripe inftont of them! After a very long drawn out argument we settled with paying for drinks and raw starters! The waiters were polite however, the manager was rude, argumentative and unapologetic. He paid no mind at all that this had RUINED MY...

Awful. Went for mothers day and was looking forward to an authentic thai meal. First we saw someone wait forever for their food. They had to take it away. Then we saw someone's food go back because there was hair in. Then they did not have what we wanted. Then I got my food which was clearly pre-made and tipped out onto the plate. It was cold and bland. The same with the childrens food. I wanted a diet 7up. They told me they had no diet drinks apart from diet coke. Half way through the meal someone else got a diet Sprite! We complained and were promised money off the bill. We got the bill and no money was taken off! We paid regardless because we will never be going back to this place. As we were leaving another table had ordered plain noodles and they sent it back because they had chicken in it! Most probably because it was pre-made. To me it seemed the kitchen was busy with take away orders and they just did not care about the customers in the restaurant. Oh forgot to add that they lost the order for our mains...but this was not...
