Avli of Battersea is hands down the best Greek restaurant I’ve tried in London. It proves that great food doesn’t have to be complicated—just simple, delicious, and affordable. The moment you step inside, you’re transported to the first day of a Greek holiday, with a warm and inviting atmosphere.
I couldn’t resist trying a bit of everything, and every dish was outstanding. The mixed meat platter was absolutely incredible, the moussaka was authentic and flavorful, and the spinach and feta pie quickly became my favorite. The staff were not only professional but also incredibly friendly, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. The owners are just as welcoming, creating a truly hospitable environment.
What sets Avli apart is that all their products—meat, yogurt, olives, and more—are sourced directly from Greece, ensuring an authentic taste in the heart of Battersea. Simply amazing!
Thanks for the fantastic experience—I’ll definitely be recommending this place to all my...
Read moreAfter long hunt for a good restaurant not just for the food, also for the service, i’m happy to share that me and my husband loved this place so much!! We were greeted by Federica and we were genuinely impressed by how single person can make you feel truly welcomed and cared! She was preparing everything herself, food, serving, chatting with us, smiling and honestly it felt like we were in a little boutique restaurant run by someone who genuinely loves what she does. We were chatting about food, culture and languages and Federica switched to italian and i felt like im chatting with an old friend, such a young lady and so welcoming and warm! I’m definitely going back, the food was delicious but when someone makes you feel in a good way, then is a real pleasure ! recommending the place to all of my friends...

The plate portion is big enough for my husband who always have big appetite.

It seems that all tables with a kid get one as a treat (not 100% sure though).
It’s definitely...
