Tops Pizza — Restaurant in London

After calling multiple times and being lied to each time, I got my pizza about 4-5 hours after ordering (its about a 10 minute drive from my work) By this point I had already called head office and got the order refunded. They seemed as confused as I was and said it was strange no one had delivered the pizza yet, I agreed with their sentiment, but this was doing nothing to satiate the desire for pizza.

I informed the delivery driver of this as he handed me the pizza, at which point he shouted angrily at me in a language i didn't understand and took the pizza back, clearly I was in the wrong here so I actually ended up apologising to him in a bizarre turn of events.

He waved me away as if fed up with me. So I went back inside to my Domino's (I'd ordered it 40 minutes ago and was already tucking into it). Avoid at all costs. 5 Stars for Domino's though for...

They took 1h 35 mins to deliver my food, despite an estimated delivery time quoted 45+ mins earlier. I called several times for the delay and they claimed that the driver had left, on the second call they claimed there were weather conditions but would be there shortly, after another 15 minutes of waiting i called again concerned it would be cold. They assured me it wouldn’t be despite earlier claiming it was cooked 35 minutes prior. Honestly, It was warm, so I wonder… the pizza most likely hadn’t even been cooked until my third call. I’d like to point out that my address is just 1.2miles from the store and would’ve taken at most 15 minutes with bad traffic to get here (we are outside central london). After the few five stars reviews the owners have started to increase the prices and using low quality products, I now understand the frustration of the workers, the counter guy who always been there was showing the reality. San Gennaro can charge 12/13£ for a real pizza, but I thought would be good to try others around, but Top pizza isn’t enough good to be called pizza, because it is made in a way that an Italian would only eat after being drunk, the Italian Pizza it’s good even if it’s been taken from the fridge, Top Pizza you can’t do that.
