Again, I went on a random walk followed by some desire of a new Korean restaurant that I've yet to visit.

And this was one of them. The reviews seemed quite good, but I no longer believe in reviews as much (ironic isn't it?)

I spoke in advance and the staff were very helpful and kind to let me know their closing times and their last order for dining in.

I was told chicken was halal, so I did the usual orders - Soft Tofu Stew and Korean Fried Chicken. On a surprise, they had gimbap too!! So I ordered chicken gimbap as well.

Chicken Gimbap:

This set the tone for the remainder of the evening. This was far too salty, way too much sauce and the quality of chicken in use was too low. The sauce was not your standard Korean sauce, and the taste was unfamiliar. Bitterly disappointed, but I hoped the remaining dishes would be better.

Soft Tofu Stew:

I was wrong. It didn't get better. But it was worse.

This does not taste like the common Soft Tofu Stew that you'd normally order in a Korean restaurant. Again, it was too salty, the stew was very runny and the seafood were a lot more chewier than usual...

Korean Frid Chicken:

I expected correctly this time. I expected disappointment and I was served just that. I had a bit of hope that it MIGHT be better than the rest. But no, it wasn't.

As expected with the theme of the night, too much sauce and salt. I had mix of lukewarm and hot chicken - begs the question if the lukewarm was a leftover from preparation.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this at all. Would never visit again. However, the staff were kind and welcoming, but that doesn't add to the taste.

My recent dining experience at the Korean restaurant was an absolute delight. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was inviting and cozy, setting the stage for a memorable meal. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the Korean fried chicken. It's hard to put into words just how good it was, but I'll try.

The chicken had that perfect balance of crunchiness on the outside and succulent tenderness on the inside that's hard to achieve. Each bite was a burst of flavors that danced across my palate – a harmonious blend of sweet, savory, and just the right amount of heat. The presentation itself was a work of art, showcasing the chef's dedication to their craft.

What truly stood out, beyond the incredible taste, was the attention to detail. It was evident that high-quality ingredients were used to create this mouthwatering dish. The flavors were layered in a way that highlighted the authenticity of Korean cuisine while also adding a unique twist that set it apart.

The Korean fried chicken was a testament to the restaurant's commitment to excellence. The staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring that my dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. As I left the restaurant with a satisfied smile, I knew I had found a gem worth revisiting. If you're a fan of Korean cuisine or just looking for an unforgettable meal, this restaurant is an...

If you know anything about Korean AVOID!!!!!! As a season food critic eating Korean food around the world I have had my share of amazing Korean food but unfortunately this was not. Kimichi directly from Sainsbury’s vinegary and cheap. The service was horrendous. 20 mins to come and take our order and an hour for our food to come. We ordered the Korean BQQ by the way so an hour to chop our meat! Our Korean tea was cold by the time we received any food, the other food we ordered along with the BBQ was cold. We were charged for steamed rice which we never received but ordered. On telling the waiter he made the excuse that it was busy and that preparing the barbecue food ‘took a long time’. It was very transparent that Deliveroo and JustEat orders are prioritised in this restaurant. Although we were kind in pointing all this out to the waiter he never once apologised and only took 7 pound of a rather large bill. This restaurant is aesthetically appealing and has good reviews on google, trust me stay...

The food was not very authentic and there were a lot of misses. As a Korean, I'm also disappointed that the kimchi was extremely sour and had a strong vinegar taste and that they also charged £3.50 for a small bit of lettuce with the BBQ. We came for dinner and between the three of us, we shared the vegetable japchae (small amounts of vegetable and not at all an authentic taste), beef kimbap (too much rice and didn't even have danmuji in it), the yangneom Korean fried chicken (really good flavour and the only thing I really enjoyed) and the beef bulgogi and pork belly for the BBQ. I appreciate that one of the waitresses was trying to help by putting the pork belly on the BBQ plate straight away but she put the whole portion on it, meaning the meat wasn't cooking properly. I had to ask her to bring another bowl so I could take a lot of the meat off and cook the meat in smaller amounts. Unfortunately, this place is not for me.

Ordered takeaway for my pregnant wife and I on Uber Eats and the food arrived an hour late (on top of the hour estimated delivery) and we were very disappointed when it did. The seafood pancake was greasy, stodgy and we couldn't identify any seafood other than tiny bits of squid, the Korean beef stew was more egg stew with a token amount of beef bulked out with button mushrooms/random veg. The Korean chicken tasted okay but was soggy, surprising given the food didn't travel long and most of the delay was at the restaurant. Seems like they decided to get the food out just before the time limit where we'd be eligible for a full refund. We were starving so took the offer of a £7 discount but even factoring that the food was still overpriced. After the sub-par food, poor communication and making a pregnant woman upset with hunger it's probably unsurprisingly we won't be trying them again.
