Basilico — Restaurant in London

I had a very bad experience with Basilico pizza, I felt like they don’t have any respect for my self, no respect for my money, and no respect from our community, I have expend 40£ in a pizza and 3 cans of coke, I have place my order 17:58, 18:31 I have received an email saying my pizza has left the store end is on away, 19:10 the pizza has arrived cold and they forgot to send the drinks, I call the store instead of apology they was very rude saying was not they mistake, they send the drinks and if I don’t received it’s nothing they can do it, the drive was on the door still I decided to send the pizza back, they never refund my money and never apologised to, so if you are local I don’t recommend to order from them, the pizza it’s over price, I told will be good because I don’t be leave someone can charge you that amount of money for that poor...

Absolutely adore Basilico! It’s without a doubt my favourite pizza in London (maybe even the UK). Just wish it was outside of London too.

Really fresh, doughy pizza. It’s pricey but it’s worth it. Good gluten free and vegan options too (I actually prefer the vegan cheese over mozzarella). Salads and pastas were also really good if you want something different. They don’t slice the pizza so I just rip it apart. Maybe you can request it though.

Delivery: I usually order via Deliveroo but I think I’ve ordered direct before and just paid over the phone with card. Only thing is there is no tracking on deliveries yet (even via Deliveroo). So although it’s usually a reasonable delivery time, you have to keep an eye out for the driver. They always call if they are outside and...

I ordered a pizza with wild mushrooms, salami and caramelised onions. I received it and it tasted sour. So I called the restaurant and said it may be the salami that’s off. I changed the meat and they sent a me new pizza - but it still tasted really sour. Then after a few bites, my lips and nose started tingling and then swelling. I started to have an allergic reaction - so two pizzas had to be thrown in the bin. When I called them again to tell the restaurant about this, the guy got angry at me and refused to refund me. It transpired they were putting vinegar on the pizza and im severely allergic to vinegar. I’ve had to miss work and im £25 down with an allergic reaction. Who puts vinegar on a pizza?!
