Be At One - Camden — Restaurant in London

Single people may not get into this venue. I run a social group for over 8,000 single people. I arrived sober just after 7pm today (Saturday) evening to check out the venue for possible future use. At the door I was told that they have a 'no single entrant policy'. I explained that I run a group for single people, but was told we could only turn up if we all came together. I explained people would turn up on there own as they were single. I was told I would need to speak with the manager. It was clear that they would only budge if there was a business reason. I have never suffered blatant discrimination for being single before. Although the bouncer was polite, and I was polite to him, I walked away feeling a deep sense of hurt. I understand that bouncers may need to view single entrants as a yellow flag, but for "Be at One", to have a blanket rule, is distressing...

A bit disappointed with the service offered to us at Be at one Bar in Camden yesterday as when we just got in the bartender asked us for id’s even when we did not yet place order for drinks. He later allowed other guests to just enter without asking them Id’s which made no sense.

Later on when we ordered drinks they din have the ingredients for the drinks I wanted to order which was “to the Beat” a Rum based cocktail.

We lastly ordered a Cuban Holiday for which the Bar tender did not garnish my drink as he was too busy into a conversation with a guest at the counter and had garnish the same drink for all others.

I was really not happy the way we were treat probably acting racisit with us. Why wud they leave out the garnish for only us and not the rest of the guests? Also why wud they ask for ID’s only to us and...

I ordered the Candy pants cocktail. The bartender made my cocktail in front of me, only filling up half a glass that was already full of ice, he then topped it with more ice and he didn’t put any vodka in the cocktail that clearly states it comes with vodka. I asked him and he lied and said he did! I was standing there watching him make it the whole time, Plus upon taste there was no alcohol in my drink. This was meant to be my first alcoholic drink (But it wasn’t, It was more like two sips of disappointing juice!) To top it off! I then see another customer order the same drink as me and their drink come with a vodka shot beside the glass to pour in, so why was mine different?
