My sibling and I had attended this restaurant as a pre-theatre dinner. Visited on 26th August, just after 6PM.
This is located on Greek Street. On the same stretch, you’ll find a plethora of other Asian restaurants; i.e. Japanese BBQ, etc. There are also a few drinking spots too. If you fancy a few drinks : cocktails. Then a dance off 🙃
There was a small queue, which took around 15/20 mins to them get seated. The manager / host, was courteous enough to inform of the rough estimate to get seated.
There is seating upstairs and downstairs. You’ll find booths, located at the back on the top floor.
The toilet is very small / cramp. Big Broad people may find this a little challenging
So what was ordered.
Side Dishes: Korean Fried Chicken (10 pieces) came with Special Soy Sauce; this I found quite sweet and almost remising of an Apple Sauce, like a purée. The other was Kimchi Mayo, which I found to the better of the sauces. I found the batter to lack the seasoning and coating compare to other Korean establishments that I’d once visited.
Pan-Fried Kimchi Pancake - not enough Kimchi and made eggy taste.
Mains:
Chilli Chicken Bibimap with extra toppings Fried Egg (+£1.50) on Brown Rice (+£1)
Spicy Pork Bibimap with extra topping Fried Egg (+£1.50) - the pork requires more marination for the taste to come through.
These come with chilli & miso condiment squeezy bottles.
In all honesty, neither of these Bibimbaps were that enjoyable. As per other Google review, there’s a severe lack of protein and more cabbage, vegetable. The level of spiciness is more tailored for the western pallet. There was hardly any heat level, when compared to other traditional Korean restaurants. I suppose if you want to get the level of protein you should be getting, it’s optional for an extra £4.50
The only highlight for myself, was the Kloud Korean Beer. It’s a white beer, smooth and nice hops. Had 3 of them.
The service was exceptional and friendly. Hence the high score ✌️🙃👍
There is Parking but it’s very limited and difficult. I wouldn’t advise leaving your car parked there on a weekend. If you have people who can be very inebriated.
Had exited Tottenham Court Road and was a 7/9 minutes walk from the underground station. It’s also just a 3 minute walk to the...
Read moreThis place had delicious food and I can't wait to come again! After a bad first experience if Korean food I was really hoping that this food would excite my taste buds and it did! Everything tasted fresh and had great flavour to it, even the tea!
I got Special Soy KFC (Korean Fried Chicken), Kimchi Pancake and Beef Bulgogi Bibimbap. The dishes also came with a Miso Sauce and Chilli Sauce.
I will start with the KFC. It was very nice, it didn't really look like the Korean Fried Chicken that I had seen on the internet as it didn't come on the bone, it was just like chicken nuggets. Despite this I still really enjoyed it and they had a very nice 'sauce covering' so, to my surprise, the sauce was covered in each individual chicken piece and bit just on the top. The sauce wasn't too salty or sweet, it had a nice balance.
The Kimchi Pancake wasn't my favourite, I found it a bit too sour but my mum really like it. She said "It had a nice texture filled with flavour. It was a perfect accompaniment to the bulgogi too." It has nice crunchy bits of cabbage in it which I think added to the texture.
Finally the Beef Bulgogi Bibimbap and the sauces. The Bibimbap was really tasty and came with around 5 different vegetables and a hit stone bowl. The rice was cooked beautifully and the beef was delicious. The vegetables tasted fresh and it was an altogether amazing dish. The sauces were some if the best sauces I have ever had. The chili sauce had a beautiful kick to it. It was just spicy enough that it hits you in the back of the thought but not so spicy that it burns your tongue off. For me though, I preferred the Miso Sauce. If you are a miso soup lover like me then you will love this sauce. It had a great salty miso flavour and I found that the even the sauces mixed together taste really nice!
Overall I would definitely come again and would recommend for anyone. There is a great variety of food and there is something for everyone.

Read morefirst of all, i just wanna start this off and say this review does not reflect on the wait staff at all. they do their job efficiently especially seeing at how young they all seem to be.
the manager of this restaurant, or the person i assume to be in charge, (middle aged korean man with glasses, kinda smells like cigarettes) is rude. every time i eat here with my friends, we are rushed to leave as soon as we finish the food -- the bill is practically thrown at our table and we're forced to pay. he does not seem to be very good at his job seeing that he is always leaving his post to have a smoke outside. i've also seen him drinking on the job which is very unprofessional.
additionally, he does not seem to treat his staff well. he is rash and easily agitated despite being the one to make the majority of the mistakes given the fact that he is on the till putting through the orders. i feel sorry for the staff quite frankly. i have also noticed that he is always preoccupied talking to another middle aged korean man (slightly older by the looks of it) during the busy dinner shifts and have overheard the wait staff complaining amongst themselves about how those two are always outside and across the street having a nonchalant conversation while there is chaos in the restaurant they are supposed to be running.
the food all in all is alright but they've increased the prices recently which is a shame. i don't really recommend it seeing that you'll pretty much be forced out the door as soon as you've put your cutlery down even for a breather. i really think the owners of this company need to evaluate their choice in manager and find someone more...
