Rude and miserable staff! We normally go to the places in Lower Richmond Road for tea/breakfast but we thought we'd give this a try on the Bank Holiday Monday. It was our first visit to the place and we weren't sure it was table service or order at the counter. We went in and sat at the table 2nd to the counter. There are total of 3 staff members working, 2 behind the counter, 1 went and came from 1st floor with a menu. We sat there for a good 5 mins, during the time at least 1 staff saw us sitting at the table, nobody came said anything or even acknowledged that we were there. I eventually went to the counter and one of the staff couldn't be more bothered with the fact that I wanted to talk to her! She couldn't maintain a decent eye contact, couldn't squeeze a half smile on her face and told me we needed to order at the counter. Any one of the 3 staff could have walked the 3 metres from the counter to our table and told us that. But no, instead they just let us sit there! If you don't want to work on a Bank Holiday, then don't work! Or if you hate your job so much, quit! Don't take it out on the customers! They may serve nice food but I don't need to deal with the miserable faces in a cafe shop. There are plenty of places in Putney serve nice food with far more friendlier atmosphere. We will never set foot to this...

As a local resident, I have been trying to find a place local coffee shop to work on my project during weekend. Before coming, I checked on Google Map that people in photos use laptop at the store, so I decided to come for finishing my project.
I ordered my coffee and asked for the WiFi password when I got my drink from a staff, it seems all fine until a staff approached me and told me they actually don’t allow people to use laptop here. This happened after I have been here and using my laptop for 30 mins….. There are still plenty of seats and I am not sure if any signs at the shop or we sure saying laptop free policy… it just doesn’t make me comfortable.
Quoted below from your website: “Cafes are one of the focal points of the Nordic culture. Come to relax for a few hours in our upstairs living room, do some work, people watch, grab a coffee to go or stay for some food.” Not sure if what I have been served today is same as what you...
Read moreI had a disappointing experience. On 17th Dec I ordered a coffee with regular milk but was given oat milk instead. I'm actually not tolerating oat milk that well and as a result I became very unwell that day. I returned today to inform them of the issue but the same person who served me offered me a cold apology, showing no genuine concern. Even if I had mentioned being hospitalised, the attitude would have likely been the same, just a dismissive “sorry, these things happen”. This was entirely their mistake. I was also charged extra for the oat milk I didn’t request. If the payment doesn’t go through, it's unlikely to get the coffee, right? So why should I have to pay for their error? The lack of customer care is shocking and unfortunately this isn’t the first time I’ve encountered this issue at this coffee shop. I pointed out the same mistake previously but again it wasn’t taken seriously or acknowledged properly. This kind of service is unacceptable and they’ve definitely lost me...
