Bubbles & Shakes — Restaurant in London

I went to Bubble and Shake Tooting on the 21st of August around 10pm. I was served by a very rude woman called ‘Mizan’. Bubble and Shake have a card where you get a stamp for every drink you order. The fine print states that you get one stamp for every order. When I have visited previously two different staff members have said that “if you order and pay separately, you can get a stamp for each drink”. However this woman “Mizan” very rudely said No and changed the rules and said the fine print card is wrong. I told the lady “Mizan” that this is very frustrating as all staff members apply their own rules. To which I was given a very rude reply- she stated that “this card is for fun and she could easily take the card away”. This is very funny because we was literally one stamp away from a free drink. This card and business is a joke. They won’t give a free drink to anyone. Its a scam. My bill came up to £35. I had £30 cash and wanted to pay £5 by card. First she said no you can’t pay with both card and cash as the till only allows one form of payment. And then when I said I paid with cash and card the time before she quickly changed her statement. I’m not surprised why the streatham branch closed down. Its time for the tooting branch to close down to now. They don’t know how to run a business. And staff are very rude. Streatham Branch Sadly had a terrible experience in bubble and shakes on the high street on Saturday evening. I went in to discuss an incorrect order to be abruptly fobbed off and had no choice but to order again. After a lengthy conversation that seemed to be getting nowhere in which I said well I will just pay for more drinks. I was then yelled at by the sales assistant for apparently being rude and told “I shouldn’t speak to staff that way”. I explained if she was unwilling to do anything there was no way I would get what I ordered other than ordering again, which is in no way rude. After which another member of staff came out to apologise for her behaviour and was willing to listen and show empathy to my situation. It’s very unfortunate because we have been regular customers since it opened and to find a single member of staff to have ruined the experience making me not want to return is disappointing. After this experience I have heard from many others that they have also had a bad experience when dealing with this...

I really don't understand all these negative reviews lol I'm in here all the time and I've noticed a lot of the other patrons are very regular too. Never been ill or disappointed by this place, apart from that time my bro got me lychee (I hate lychee).

The range is great and the specials are not something you find elsewhere.

Bubbles come as standard in the flavour you order whilst other bubble tea places charge you even for the initial scoop.

The bubble coffees are truly gangsta, and if you ask them they'll happily turn any milk tea into a milk coffee. Try the honeydew and caramel coffee. It may well be the best drink you have all year.

The shakes are great, although their standard thickness is too thick for me, but apparently that's what everyone wants. Of you simply ask them to make it thinner they can do that. They also don't say it on the menu but you can combine flavours! The Oreo and crunchie is truly...
