I ordered food from chatkhara through uber eats. I have ordered from them before. Sometimes bad food, sometimes good food.
But this time it was shocking. I ordered lamb biryani and tarka dhall.
Iam 100% certain the lamb biryani was picked out of the bin, i.e Somebodys leftover food, and they then gave it to.me.!!
The food stunk of mould and bacteria. It stunk of vomit. Now, usually when food has been in the bin for sometime it smells like this. After taking the first 2 bites , i immediately felt sick and had to vomit it out ! The smell was overwhelming.
On closer inspection i see that the lemon piece in the biryani had already been squeezed by someone as it had finger prints on it, and was flat . and the meat pieces were dark and old as if meat from a dead animal. One of the meat piece had mould growing on it.
So there is no question in my mind that this biryani was in the bin, and they picked it out and gave it to me, because i dont think they are dumb enough to keep such food in the fridge. Unless iam wrong and they do do that ?
The tarka dhall looked very gooey and dark. After tasting a bit of it , that too smelled and tasted very bad. As if full of bacteria and " gone off". Both of the dishes went in the bin. And my bank holiday weekend treat ruined by this disgusting unhealthy chatkhara restaurant.
I believe chatkhara restaurant did this deliberatly and intentionally gave me bad food, perhaps after seeing my profile picture on uber eats ?? Who knows.
I took videos and pictures of everything and passed it on to uber eats.
But uber eats only gave me half the refund, which Is ridiculous. I threw all the food In the bin, so why they dont give me a full refund ? Why keep some of my money ?? Doesnt make sense.
Now iam thinking of reporting chatkhara to health and safety. As they cannot get away with trying to deliberatly poison people like this.
And maybe also report uber eats to thier relevant governing body for keeping peoples money for no reason.
I would not recommend chatkhara to anyone, unless you want to fall ill after eating thier food. And want to out food from the bin inside your body, full of vomit smell,...
Read moreFirst and last time I visit this place. Awful service. Diabolical food. Iv lived in Tooting for 20 years and have sampled most of the wonderful curries on offer but I thought I’d pop into this take away and was met with the most rudest disinterested staff. Reluctance to answer any questions about the curries. Very cold and unfriendly. I almost felt like an inmate in a prison cafeteria the way I was treated. I chose a curry blindly as these guys offered no assurance or help in choosing the right one. Once I paid I said thank you… nothing. I had to say thank you again and all I got in return was a grunt. To make matters worse… the curry turned out to be the worst tasting curry Iv ever had. I tasted it and was knocked back by how off it tasted. Watery consistency with undercooked lamb. Worst curry Iv had hands down. Which is shocking considering how many Iv had in my life. Extremely disappointed. It’s far too competitive a trade round these here parts for this level of service. Won’t be seeing...
Read moreI went to this place with my friends and I have never experienced such appalling behavior from restaurant staff in my life. One of their employees was not just rude, he completely lost it for no reason. He started shouting, swearing, and throwing hand gestures at us, demanding we leave like we had done something wrong. The food was disgusting on top of that, which made the whole experience even worse.
What’s truly pathetic is that while this guy was openly misbehaving with female customers, the rest of the staff just stood there silently, watching, instead of stepping in to stop him. Even other diners had to tell him to calm down because his behavior was so outrageous. This is not just bad service, it’s disgraceful, unprofessional, and completely...
