Nice little fast food restaurant next to London Palladium. Nice decor and ambience. First time visiting with a friend who'd been before. Popular Qatari brand. Called the store beforehand to confirm the time they close. Got there around 9.30pm. They close at 11pm. Last order at 10.45pm.
Place is clean and organised. Ordered chilli wagyu beef burger, "brave dog" hot dog, cheesy sweet potato fries and a strawberry mojito mocktail. Food was all very nice. Burger was tasty but wagyu beef was just a little over-cooked if I'm being picky; prefer it more juicy. Onions, tomatoes & lettuce was fresh. Bun was soft and airy. Overall 9/10 for the burger. Hot dog was perfect. Tasty & fresh meat and soft airy bun. Nice combination of sauces and onions. Overall 10/10 for the hot dog. Sweet potato fries were perfectly crispy on the outside yet soft on the inside. Cheese was tasty. Overall 10/10 for the sweet potato fries. The strawberry mojito mocktail was freshly made with ice inside and refreshing. Overall 10/10 on the mocktail. -Food was ready in 10-15 minutes. Service at the till was great. Staff member was polite, smiling & helpful. Was very busy even at 9.30pm. Great sign if a restaurant is busy 90 mins before closing. Waited 5-10 mins in the queue to be served. Then had to stay standing whilst food was being prepared due to seating all being taken by other customers. However, just before our order was ready we found a seat & table. After we'd eaten; our table was cleared by a staff member. Overall service 9/10. Would rate it 10/10 if we could've found seating straight after ordering. -Location is next to carnaby street and we found parking right away on the street opposite the restaurant.
Would recommend. Is in the more expensive range regarding prices but food, service & overall experience makes...
Read moreI visited Burgeri today and ordered a Majestic Burger and a Chicken Burger, looking forward to what I had heard was a good meal. The store was very busy, so I waited patiently for about 20 minutes. As I live quite far away, I took my order as a takeaway and left, excited to finally try the food at home.Unfortunately, my excitement quickly turned into disappointment when I opened the bag to discover they had given me the entirely wrong order. To make matters worse, the food included tomatoes, which my wife is allergic to. I immediately called the store to express my frustration, but the response I received from the manager was nothing short of appalling. He simply said there was nothing he could do to help.I asked if I could get a refund, explaining that I had travelled a long way and now had food I couldn’t even eat. The manager informed me that I would have to return to the store to collect a cash refund, which seemed extremely suspicious for a large chain restaurant in the middle of London. Despite explaining the inconvenience, the manager was adamant that there was no other way to resolve the issue and refused to offer a bank transfer or any alternative. In the end, I left my name and number with the manager, hoping for a call back to arrange the refund. Unsurprisingly, I’ve heard nothing since, and I’m left feeling that my details were probably discarded immediately. All in all, this experience has been a complete waste of time, money, and effort. I’m down £50, and all I got in return was poor service, the wrong order, and a lot of frustration. For the long wait times, parking charges, and the high prices they charge, it’s simply not worth it if they can’t even get a basic order right.Avoid this place if you value your...
Read moreAlways enjoy a quick stop at Burgeri whilst wandering Oxford St. Yesterday was the eve of Lockdown 2.0 so naturally the whole of the country was out getting their last fix of whatever it is they were craving, and mine was Burgeri. There was a short queue when I arrived with a friend after 7pm and we were in by 7.45. I don't normally wait longer than 15min for a table anywhere but I had been craving this so much, I wasn't going anywhere else! I think maintaining the queue outside was probably their best move as it used to get so busy and hectic so once we were in, it was a lot calmer and social distancing could be maintained. I ordered a B Chilli Angus burger and Chilli Cheese fries, chicken nuggets and a coke. Simple, beautiful. It was everything I enjoyed and more. I'm not usually someone who goes for meat burgers because the meat smell puts me off but this burger patty is delicious, doesn't have that meaty smell and is clean. Packed full of their special sauce, lettuce and fresh chillis (the reason I go there!), I took a huge sigh of relief on my first bite. I usually get cheesy fries but I ordered chilli cheese fries which were fine. There were chopped jalapeños in the beef which gave it the heat but I was getting that from the chillis in the burger anyway. These were nice but I think the cheesy fries alone would suffice. I get a side of nuggets when I come to Burgeri because I like to nibble on wings or other sides when I'm having a burger and these are the nicest nuggets I'll ever have. Not the machine-mashed questionable "chicken" bits you get at fast food restaurants - you get soft chunks of chicken breast fried in a crispy batter. Perfect pre-lockdown meal and as soon as they open up again, I...
