My favourite place to go. From the moment you step inside, the ambiance envelops you in warmth, with soft lighting and eclectic decor that encourages relaxation and conversation.

The bartenders are true mixology artists, crafting cocktails that are not only visually stunning but also bursting with flavor.

I started off with a shisha as that’s what I usually order and a relaxing tasteful cocktail called carpiriha suggested by the bartender himself which has now become my favourite.

Na última quarta-feira, fomos ao Buteco do Duda para assistir ao jogo entre Inglaterra e Holanda. O ambiente era animado e o atendimento inicial foi cordial. Pedimos algumas porções e bebidas enquanto nos acomodávamos para assistir à partida. O serviço foi bom tornando a noite agradável até então.

No entanto, ao final do jogo, um incidente inesperado ocorreu. O dono do buteco, Duda, e seu irmão, que estavam presentes, nos abordaram de maneira rude, acusando injustamente um amigo do meu filho de ter roubado um copo do estabelecimento. A situação foi constrangedora e gerou um clima de tensão entre todos.

Após uma breve discussão, verificou-se que a acusação era infundada. O que o amigo do meu filho tinha no bolso era apenas uma garrafa de água que ele havia trazido consigo. Apesar do mal-entendido ter sido esclarecido, a maneira como fomos tratados deixou uma impressão muito negativa.

Foi uma experiência decepcionante, considerando que até então o atendimento havia sido bom. Este incidente certamente impactou nossa opinião sobre o Buteco do Duda e nos fez repensar se voltaríamos ao local no futuro.

Last Wednesday, July 10th, we went to Buteco do Duda to watch the game between England and the Netherlands. The atmosphere was lively and the initial service was friendly. We ordered some food and drinks as we settled in to watch the match. The service was good, making the evening enjoyable so far.

However, at the end of the game, an unexpected incident occurred. The owner of the bar, Duda, and his brother, who were present, approached us rudely, unfairly accusing one of my son's friends of having stolen a glass from the establishment. The situation was embarrassing and created an atmosphere of tension among everyone.

After a brief discussion, it was found that the accusation was unfounded. What my son's friend had in his pocket was just a bottle of water that he had brought with him. Although the misunderstanding was cleared up, the way we were treated left a very negative impression.

It was a disappointing experience, considering that until then the service had been good. This incident certainly impacted our opinion of Buteco do Duda and made us rethink whether we would return to the place...

We were walking by when we noticed this place and thought let’s check it out . Ordered our food and was sent the wrong order. One of the staff members could not speak English, so it was a back and forth of just awkward eye contact trying to explain that the order was wrong. The owner then came and said he would bring us our actual order and some other round of drinks. We waited an hour for this and they never came. The place was not busy at all, so to have this sort of service when it wasn’t busy I can’t even imagine if it actually were… absolutely ridiculous.
